  • What?

    It just told me my speed, and then during troubleshooting it just told me to move closer to the router and make sure I wasn’t connected to my neighbors Wi-Fi. Not much of a support app, and I’m not sure why I was told to download it in the first place.
  • Where’s the link to see my data?!

    The developer has responded to numerous complains regarding lack of transparency about the data being collected and sent by asserting that there is a link to view that data in the app. Where, exactly? I cannot find it. I’m guessing that with Apple’s stringent standards, it’s probably safe, but I won’t upgrade my one-star review unless/until I can find that link!

    The blink app told me to get this app to help my camera but it didn’t do nothing
  • Opaque and inaccurate

    I ran this and it identified 3 issues. I was able to independently look at the three issues and none were actually problems so I have no idea what this actually did or sent. My router has built-in security so if this app attempts to scan for certain issues, of course it won’t work! No help at all.

  • Cannot review the data collected prior to it being sent to support.

    There should be a way for users to see what data is being collected before it is sent to support personnel. Are my wifi passwords in here? Who knows? Are the names of all my devices in here? Who knows.

    I can see where this would be a useful tool for folks to self diagnose their network issues, but only if we can see the results.

    Also, data should be deleted and removed from access by support personnel within a short time period, perhaps 7 days.

  • It gives my information to WYZE

    If the network status was provided to me as well it would make sense, since the troubleshooters there are errand people without much knowledge of networks. But this way no Never again!

    I attempted to use the app twice on two different devices ad it crashed both times.

    Blink customer service asked me to download to see if my router is the reason that my cameras aren’t capturing video correctly ( I know this isn’t the case, but I’m obliging them). The app crashes every time as soon as it gets to the “Benchmarking Network” stage. Useless if it can’t even be used.
  • Agree with privacy issues

    I thought I’d see what was sent. Was not, just told me info sent to server!! What server?

    Reset the router, a pain all the time, and it will work. Did this yesterday.

    Worried about this.

    Update: given several similar reviews perhaps think of changing the info the customer can see ; w/o going through hassle.
