  • Why do I need this app?

    Wyze support made me download this app and I deleted it as soon as the call was done. I did not see any data before it was sent and I have no idea what was sent. Wyze needs to find a better way to handle support. I would not download this app again, instead I will tell them that my network is fine, move on.

    Hi Jeff! Our app captures general data about your network such as speed test results, signal strength to our partner's (Wyze in this case) devices, etc. There is a link in the app where you can see a full list of what we gather and our privacy policy is linked in the app description here in the store. All collected network measurements are securely sent to Wyze so their support team can access that data to help troubleshoot your issue. If you wish to review the information you can ask the Wyze support team to see it or request a deletion. Hope this helps!

    I have such good experience with this app finding out specifically what is going on with my WiFi and customers WiFi’s!

    I think this garbage app is spyware. Rachio made me download. Instantly deleted it.
  • Great tool

    Helped me identify congestion on my network and provided me with suggestions on how i could improve my speeds and connectivity.
  • Blind date is better

    The Wyze support used this app. To check MY network. I can’t see a copy of what has been scanned?
    This app should be flagged by Apple IOS of end user security compliance.
    Avoid as much as possible
  • Blink Customer Service made me use this tool to get support

    Blink customer service told me to run this app, this is a horrible way to go about customer support, I’ve never heard of this company and I have no idea what information is being gathered and passed along, who all has access to that data, etc.

    Literally anyone with any IT security background would lose their mind if they saw this is what companies like Blink/Amazon are telling customers to do.

  • Waste of time

    Result only points to deficiencies in your home or cell network such as old router, poor connectivity, old OS, etc. The support rep tried hard but in the end the I resolved the issue myself just by doing a hard reset on my mobile device.
  • Shady

    This is hard. Seems shady and hard to trust. But the support rep seems to be helping
  • Secure?

    I’m not willing to send information to anyone without knowing what information has been retrieved. This makes me question the security. Seems a bit shady.
  • Seems very shady. No privacy controls

    Sends data to my vendor without letting me clearly see what is being sent. Developer seems to have total disregard for customer privacy.
