Not worth the investment
Poor practice of consistently reusing art, apparently expecting you to pony up again for the same exact thing in a slightly different package. 80-90% of cards contain cropped comic book art, rather than original artwork. Nonexistent customer service- good luck getting a response to a support ticket. Ridiculous drop times with no advance notice, making it impossible to properly maintain a collection. Prices that rise as the user base falls. No value placed upon the input of long-term collectors, even those who have spent significant sums of real money- how many people requested “sort by set”, Topps, without any commensurate action? Many other examples as well. Refusal to correct or address rampant technical errors- inactive trade listings have been on the fritz for months, just to name one. The one positive is the users themselves, notably on the trade forum. A real boon to the in-app experience, and a group that deserves far better than the dismissive fashion they are treated by Topps. A blatant example of taking your subscribers for granted, finally inspiring me (and others) to quit cold turkey and outright delete this app once and for all. Save your time, money and stress level.

Supper buggy app. Used to be good.
This is getting ridiculous. I’ve contacted Topps several times about missing cards and not getting cards for the credits I’ve spent. Or even getting the free cards when the opportunity is there. Their app just fails to give the card. It shouldn’t take you a month to respond to people. The reliability of your their has gone way down and I just don’t trust it. Half the time I don’t even get the reward promised for watching a video to gain credits. I long ago stop trying to do anything else to earn credits. Id be a fool to spend any real money on this buggy app because I’d probably lose it too and never get a response from them. I may try for a few cards here and there but to be honest this app has become a huge waste of my time.Show lesstoosad
Great look and idea but.....
Once again topp$ cares about one thing money.....they keep getting farther away from card trading. This is what the apps used to be about and less about spending real money for garbage app performance and images we don’t own. I love collecting , trading and completing sets. But this app and all topp$ apps are far from this concept and they don’t give a f@$* about the users. They are just trying to right an already sinking ship. I have all the topps card trader apps including the UFC one that they clearly don’t care at all about . People in there spent real money and there has been nothing since May 2019. When I contact support they give me the generic answer keep a look out in articles. The last ufc article was May 2019. Best advice is stay away from all topp$ apps . In there early days they where fun and enjoyable. Now they are all a cash grab for a once great card company on the verge of bankruptcy.Show lessFunken79

“Let’s update something that works perfectly and everyone likes, and turn it into an unlikeable monstrosity which is very difficult to work with!”, says the development team at Topps...
The game itself is fun, lots of interesting content and it’s easy enough to succeed without spending cash if you don’t want; though like many apps the cooler content is easier to get if you do..
But changing for the sake of change isn’t a good business model (see New Coke..), and when forums are FILLED with users screaming dislike for newly updated interfaces... it could be harmful to the app. I’ll keep my eyes out for improvements, but in the interim my wallet is closed.Show lessSamjsan
Careful spending money on app
*Update. After submitting a second ticket topps support got the missing card back with bonus diamonds. Though frustrating took two tickets to get card back, I think topps fairly resolved the issue.
I had bought a $25 reserve box. The special card if comes with went missing from my account. Attempted to resolve with topps support but they just said they confirmed I never had the card even though I purchased the box. Done with app since cannot trust that money spent on game will not just go missing.Show lessinevitable159
Horrible App Experience
This app has a decent premise for collectors however the app consistently crashes and is constantly hacked. Content that you have purchased gets lost, new content when released is hacked so it’s sold out in under a minute and no longer redeemable, or if you were to get it, it is not viewable in your collection due to a glitch. This has happened with every release they’ve had in the last two months. If you reach out to their support it is not responsive. Any time the user has a problem they post to their twitter “sorry for the inconvenience, we’re investigating the issue” and then nothing is ever resolved. Go ahead, check their twitter and you’ll see. Save your money, they’re stealing from you and do not care about doing so.Show lessMonty3787
Topps is gonna Topps. Frustrating to say the least.
2 stars only because I like a lot of the designs. I love the concept but Topps execution is absolutely horrendous and the customer service is worse. Failed drops. Glitched packs. Unresponsive team. Trading is awful because the greed is astronomical. People openly promote selling things on thE-Bay and nothing is done about it. Every drop worth anything has a glitch and an apology of a couple of free coins is supposed to make things right. Scheduled drops getting moved. This is terrible. I quit TWD for a lot of these reasons, but at least it took a while to get to that point there. This app just jumps right in. Very very frustrating.Show lessRevious_1
Typical Topps
If you’ve played any of Topps other “free” apps, there’s not much different here. There’s plenty of free cards you can get when the app isn’t glitching or their servers aren’t messing up. The community is just as bad as their other apps, with whales spending real money to buy as much as they can to force unbalanced trades. Want one of their Sold Out Rares? Gonna have to give up 9 of your Super Rares. There’s notifications that tell you when a set releases. You’ll get that notification (if at all) after that set has sold out. You will receive constant notifications however that you have enough energy for a wheel spin (when you don’t) or a mystery box is available (when it isn’t). All in all it’s a mediocre app to pass the time with or blow any spare money on to be a big roller of virtual jpegs.Show lessWraithwolf420
Great collection game
I love the aesthetics of this app and love collecting. The daily rewards and fusions are nice. Players are relatively friendly and help out.
However, there are a few points that are lacking. Such as the Awards and character selections. The awards is often buggy and even though you complete a set, you don’t always get the set completion award. For example, there are set completion awards for Inhumans and Villains sets, that are obtained by the daily spins. However, once you complete the set, you still never get the set completion awards. Which is very disappointing.
As for character selections, the X-men have tons of characters for example, but are missing staple characters. Like how can we have all the retro 90s cartoon characters but not include a single Gambit? Gambit is my all time favorite Marvel character and there is not a single Gambit to collect in this entire game. Super disappointed 😕
However, the overall game is very enjoyable and collecting your favorite characters or sets is a fun pass time.Show lessVertuhonagan
Nice but not perfect
This is a neat concept and I love collecting cards. The artwork is great and love the pack ideas. The main issue with this is the community at times. Trading cards is not the best in this game due to scalpers and card rarities. I understand that like the real world there are rare cards, but I wish there was just better trading. Currently the first trading post is happening and I feel that it is not going the best. I feel like this should have been a event that encourages trading to get all 7 cards during the time period and you get the award right away instead of after the time period. This cause super onside trades to happen and makes the event no fun. I love the concept but the execution is not great.
