  • Excellent customer service

    There was a direct deposit transaction that failed and after around 12 days the amount was not getting credited back. After a few seconds of submitting a help request the amount appeared on the Brightwell account and on the next day it was in my bank account through an on demand transfer. Got a response in less than 12 hours by Catherine Abrigo and she was very helpful and kind in settling the situation. Great work and great service.

  • DO NOT TRUST- Poor customer service and app not helpful

    No in detail info on transactions in and out.
    Very confusing to navigate.
    Annoying to log back in with the face recognition- doesn’t always work and have to wait for company to authorise you.
    To able to send money straight away.
    When trying to call- line gets hung up etc.
    When having spoken to someone they have different info on their screen as to what you have in your app. (I.e you see a transaction and they don’t!)
    I DO NOT trust this app to transfer safely large amount of money- if my company didn’t make me use this for income there is no way I will use it ever again.
    Very unsettling how it is dealt with and with no way of getting through to someone to help you when moving LARGE amounts of money!

  • The Worst

    If you’re an employer thinking of using Brightwell, your employees will hate you.

    The app is terrible, crashes, gets errors during money transfers, and changes selections you’ve made.

    Their customer service doesn’t actually answer questions and just keeps responding with boilerplate language and saying they are “escalating” the issue to someone else.

    I’ve had multiple issues with Brightwell and I have talked to my employer about it who says other employees also complain, but they are stuck in a contract for now. They better not renew.

    Run away. Don’t use this service.

  • Not user friendly

    Lots of bugs in this app. Not user friendly at all and the facial recognition doesn’t work well. Seems cheaply made and needs much improvement.
  • Excellent support; the card is absolutely fab

    The support received by the Brightwell team is commendable, always ready to assist , no matter what the issue is, and the follow up is great! The card itself is an excellent product, works perfectly anywhere, and never has a glitch. It is important to have an updated device so the card application which constantly updates can work well. I can say that financial charging issues appearing on the card are not generated by Brightwell but by the any other party involved in operations of transferring or paying. Personally I use Brightwell card to operate on to different accounts and have never come across anything abnormal other than standard procedures / charges that are practised by all banks.

    The app is very easy to use, bank to bank transfer takes not even 2 days and the fee is very low. The customer support is always very helpful and quick to respond!

    Chelle (Michelle L.), the Customer Support Specialist, was very helpful when my card was suspended due to fraud alert. Chelle quickly verified the issue and helped to reactivate the card as soon as possible.
    It saved me from need of issuing a new card and waiting for replacement to arrive to home address.
    It took a phone call and a couple of emails back and forth. She gave advices how to secure the card and to get the Card Alert notices.

    Again, this company is a joke.

    Heres why:

    1. Seamless and Intelligent transactions are simply not within brightwells abilities. Try a simple “On Demand Transfer” and watch it fail 4-5 times because of an “error”.

    2. Support is mindless. They only chime-in after you either have no choice or the application just simply starts working.

    3. Beightwell is consistent at failing.

    Hence the hashtag #LameWell 🤣
