  • Unusable

Crashes 100 percent of the time trying to connect.
  • Allows IKEA Idasen desk favourite positions

Simple and easy to use app. I’m using it with my IKEA Idasen desk and once your favourite positions are set in the app the desk will then stop at those positions when you use the paddle. Very helpful.

  • 😠

Look, all I want is to tap on my favorite position and have the desk go to that position. I don’t want to tap and hold for the whole time. Just one tap. I’m sure you can figure it out

Also, HomeKit and Shortcuts support will literally triple your company’s value.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. If your desk supports automatic drive, it can be enabled in the 'More' menu. Best regards, LINAK A/S
  • Works great with one desk

I have two different desks. Have to delete app and reinstall every time I want to use iOS app to control. Pretty significant bug.
  • Need support of Siri Shortcuts and a widget

This Linak apps are surprisingly bad, considering that it should be their focus. No mac / linux support, people are creating their own opensource versions of that. iOS app requires support for Siri Shortcuts to move desk up and down to the memorized positions or at least have a widget support. Nobody needs the calendar and notifications, people need to just drive the table fast and convenient, which is not possible today without clicking a dozen of buttons to unlock the phone, open app etc

  • Good

Overall happy with the app. I’d like Apple Watch and Siri Shortcuts support.

Weird and annoying that it opens at the “You” tab and wants me to complete “challenges”. I installed this to control my desk, not to coach me. This behaviour just adds an extra tap.

  • doesnt recognise the desk

Turned on bluetooth, kept searching for my desk but never found my desk.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Please ensure that the desk is also in pairing mode when trying to connect the desk and the app. Best regards, LINAK A/S
  • Does the job

Works fine with my Ikea idasen, I which I didnt have to hold the button down from one position to another
  • Could Be Better.

App works - but is super basic. It’s really dumb that I can’t tap my favorite setting and have it go to that height - I have to hold it down the whole time it’s moving. If they add newer features (Siri & Shortcuts integration, iOS 14 widgets) it would be 10x better.
  • Desk Control app not auto bluetooth connecting to desk from iPhone with iOS 14

When I was using my iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 13, I was able to Bluetooth pair your Desk Control 2.0.7 app with my desk, and every time I opened your app, it auto bluetooth connected to the desk and could move the desk top up or down via the app - the app worked well.

After upgrading to iOS 14, I have been experiencing significant problems. I can pair my iPhone iOS 14 with the desk, but after the initial pairing, your app will not ever auto reconnect to the desk via Bluetooth.

After experiencing this issue, I erased the entire iPhone 11 Pro, and set it up as new with iOS 14, and reinstalled all my apps and settings manually. Still, after the initial bluetooth pair of your app to the desk, your app will not subsequently auto pair or control the desk height.

I tried an old iPhone 5s with iOS 12.4.8 with your Desk Control 2.0.7 app. The iPhone 5s pairs with the desk and your app continues to auto connect to the desk between uses, just like my iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 13 did.

I can still connect to other bluetooth devices with my iPhone 11 Pro iOS 14, and they continue to work correctly - it’s just when using your Desk Control 2.0.7 app do I have a bluetooth problem.

The problem connecting to the desk does not appear to be a hardware problem with my iPhone 11 Pro, but instead the problem appears to be with your Desk Control app’s compatibility with iOS 14, or the desk’s bluetooth connection with iOS 14.

I’m starting to see other people post reviews with the same problem with your app, so it’s not just my phone.

Please update your Desk Control app’s and/or desk’s bluetooth functionality to work with iOS 14.

    Thank you.
