Motivational

I’ve been using this app for a little bit now, I can’t explain how peaceful and relaxing it is to achieve my goals with such calm and nurturing energy.
I guess I’m just pleased that this app is letting me slowly figure out my own routine and place in this life. Sounds dramatic but I think it’s been a great addition to my life. I haven’t bought the sub haven’t needed too, but I’m sure that option would be interesting too :)

It grows on you.

I forgot to cancel the free trial and at first I was kind of 😬 about it because I feel like I had unintentionally spent $40 for an app that reminds me to drink water…. then I realized a) it’s $40 for an entire year b) if you take the time in one day to set your habits and routines for every day in the next coming year then everything balances out. Now that my routines and reminders are set, I love it. I’m a single 29 year old who lives alone and has ADHD with Autism — It’s very important that I stay on a routine or my days can crumble. My old way was tolerable but it consisted of reminders and notes and alarms on my phone in different apps as well as calendars and random post it notes scattered throughout my life. After almost a month of fabulous I’m starting to feel like a lot of those things are becoming easier keep track of. On the surface it’s an app that reminds you to drink water and stretch but once you dig just a little, it’s a whole world of help.

My only complaint is that they should maybe consider ways of making the app easier for beginners, older people or people who are technologically challenged. I’m a millennial tech-nerd so it was fairly easy to maneuver but I recommended it to my mom, 58 years old (who could also benefit) and she gave up after two days. She says that navigating it at her age was too frustrating. — Personally, I’m very pleased so far. (Almost one month in)

Login Issues

I downloaded this app while on vacation in LA, and started using it and mostly liked it especially the Infograph’s and layout of the app for the most part. It was mostly user friendly but there were some aspects that could have been more user friendly and streamlined. When I went back home to a different time zone, the app did not appear to update with that new time zone since it still showed I was on day two of my progress but I was not actually on day 3. I deleted and downloaded it again, but it made me go through the entire set up page again. This is why the rating is so low! I couldn’t bypass this part and simply login again and when I went through and completed it, it overrode all of my progress and didn’t have any backup data saved (even though my phone had been previously connected to wifi for various days while using the app) I lost all my progress and don’t feel like starting over so I’m deleting it and moving on to something else. Hope they can get and issue like this figured out so people don’t have to be forced to go through a completely new set up each time they download the app again.

Also save yourself time with going through that long survey for the live coaching, it’s not free and they wait to tell you until the very end. It’s $67. I wish they made that clear before having to go through that survey so if you didn’t want to pay for it you didn’t need to do the survey in the first place.

Misleading + No Customer Service

When you sign up for the free trial or subscription, Fabulous indicates that they can cancel the subscription at any time and that the cancellation will ultimately cancel the auto-renewal. I subscribed to the service over a year ago but decided, a few months later, I did not find the “Journey” in their app to be suitable. So, I canceled the subscription. However, on the anniversary of my subscription, I was charged the renewal fee, even though I canceled my subscription over nine months ago (that is, almost three months after my subscription). Actually, before the renewal, the status in the app was (and actually is still) showing my status as a “ Standard Free Plan.” This is extremely disturbing! They charged me for the renewal even though I canceled my subscription way before the renewal date. Then, they don’t give me access to the service. To make things worse, there is no direct way to contact a customer service representative to help me resolve the issue. You can’t simple start a chat or send a message in a simple way; instead, you need to go through the chatbot and answer a few questions in an indirect approach to get to the page through which you can send a message to customer service, and then you will have to wait for days. They claim that the issue has been resolved, but only time will tell! Overall, nicely designed app (nothing exceptional), but unpleasant experience, and I regretted giving Fabulous my credit card.

Struggling with this app

First of all, there are a lot of benefits here. But. Even though I enjoy the app generally, I feel frustrated. I can’t seem to get to customer service. The link on the Apple Store app page is broken. There’s nothing within the app itself. I go to the website, and it wants to take me through this long “tell us about yourself” bit. I just want to email or chat with customer service.
I’ll also say that I like the “Let go of what hurts you” habit. But it doesn’t say anything at all about the process of doing that. No one likes to hold onto pain. We do it because we don’t know how to heal from it and let it go. So, some guidance there would be good.
Also, if you comment on someone else’s post and the end of your sentence is cut off, there’s no option to fix your comment.
Overall, it’s a nice app with a ton of potential. But, there are some things missing. I might even not be able to find some things that are there for me. And I can’t find a way to communicate at all with the makers of the app to share feedback or get information. Posting this review is literally the only thing I can think of. I’m sorry I didn’t share much of what I like about the app. (I even have a subscription.) But first, I need some help.

An app that really needs to take a chill pill!

An okay idea for an app. For 3+ days, it kept bothering me multiple times about drinking water every morning. (I already do that, by the way! Didn’t think to ask?) At one point, it wanted me to put water by my bed, but when I told it no (because I don’t enjoy bumping it and spilling water everywhere in the middle of the night), it seemed worried that I wouldn’t drink water in the morning. Chill out, Fabulous app! I’m gonna be okay! And there’s just so much going on in the app screen at the same time… some affirmation video with poem, with different pop-up-type boxes around and tick boxes. Do I tick them? Oh wait… they don’t respond. Didn’t I already tick that? Does it want me to tick it again, or is that for tomorrow? Chill out, Fabulous app! You’re stressing ME out! So, yeah… I had to delete it. Nice try, though. I did want this to be good, because I think the underlying science is solid. I hope they can work out the interface bit.

Amazing app (highly recommend)

This app is absolutely amazing. It may have a confusing set up at first but it really helps you once you’ve figured out how it works. There’s routines for throughout the day which help you get up and start moving and have a plan for your day. This app also has “circles” designated to certain things that you may be struggling with. It allows you to chat with others from all around the world and share your experiences and help each other. I think this feature is really great because you get to see others progress in their life and you also get to help them with it, and share your own progress. There are also journeys that you set up to help you with everyday problems. For example, social media detox, self-love, de-clutter, gratitude, being able to let go, journaling, etc. This app gives you a chance to reflect and change yourself for the better. It’s really inspiring all the positivity this app and the people using it radiates. Overall, this app is phenomenal and I would definitely recommend it if you struggle with different things in life.

Making a change

I’ve been stuck for so long in the same place mentally, and physically that I was just so sick of trying, but after trying a few days of this app I can feel myself starting to change. Not drastically or anything big, but just small things. I’m enjoying my slow but productive adventure with this app. Highly recommend for those willing to change and become a better self.

Fabulous!

Good review:

It’s a great app that shows short animations and videos to show Guide you through your that path you take. If you complete a Target you get a feeling of achievement and it gives you a good well done. They use inspirational letters and rewards to keep you going.

Improvements:

Obviously it is a good app but there are a few things I think it would make the app easier and better to use!
- multiple notifications for a task that is set
- a tutorial at the start of how to use the app

Overall review:

I think that app is a great app and it makes amazing results when you get the hang of how to use it. It’s good for all ages and sets good habits in at a young age; even if you are older it’s good to learn new ways and this app is perfect for this. I downloaded many other apps before this app and they are all useless in comparison . You can get a premium pack where you unlock different features however it is certainly not needed so if you can’t afford it I wouldn’t worry. But it is fantastic to have. You have lots of features that you don’t have to unlock using the premium buy but it is worth getting the premium pack and paying the money. Overall this is a fantastic app that will help you get rid of bad habits and get onto good habits. Definitely get this app and check it out.

Good app - terrible management

I’d like to start off by saying this is a good app. Not something I’d be able to commit to using, but I found a flaw in the people working for the app. I had accidentally activated two of the free trials. One through the App Store, and one online. (Understandably, my fault.) I sent an email to support requesting a refund, as I was unable to refund through apple. I was told it may be a few weeks, however, several months later, and no follow up emails, even though I’ve emailed asking for updates, I’ve received no refund or response explaining why they can’t complete the refund. Frustrating.
