NOT a native app

The main menu is the only part of this app that is native. To actually place an order or use any functionality, they just open a web view focused on their website. I downloaded the app because I didn’t want to use the mobile website. Hopefully this is a work in progress and they just aren’t done yet. 2 stars cause it works, the other 3 are missing cause it’s just their mobile website.

Awesome pizza, horrible app

Not sure how this app even got through Apple review. It is so broken up between different web windows popping up from different locations as you navigate around the duct taped together websites. None of the options are actual “options”, they’re just URLs to different sites that Jets owns. Feels very disjointed and clunky.

Apple developer guidelines specify state that you are no longer allowed to have apps that are simply wrappers around a website. The app has to bring actual functionally to the user. An app like this is typically rejected by Apple review stating that it would be better served as a mobile friendly website instead of an app that you install. Not sure how this monstrosity was allowed through to the App Store.

Just downloaded...just spins and says “loading”

I just downloaded the app for my iPhone and once I selected Carryout, it just spins its wheels and says loading and never lets me move forward to select a restaurant or order. I tried three different areas thinking it might be my cell signal with the same result.

Then I called the store to order and got attitude because I couldn’t hear the person ok the phone. When he spoke louder and into the phone it was fine. Not a great first Jet’s experience.

More “Lost” Than Previous Ver.

Cannot “find” a store when you’re parked in front of it. That was also the problem with the app last year. Today, when searching the store for Little Caesar’s app, I saw there was a new Jets’s version. After installing it, it still couldn’t find the nearest location from home. Not using GPS, not with zip codes (it’s near the boundary between two zips) and not using by-city-names for either zip. As it happens, to pick up from the nearest Dominos, I had to drive by Jets. So I pulled in and parked. After the first failure, I changed location services from “only when the app is open” to “always.” Stopped and re-launched the app.

Nothing; nada; zip.

Oh, yeah. No issues with Caesar’s, Pizza Hut, BWW or Dominos apps. Jets uninstalled now.

Use a PC/Mac with a real browser if you really like Jets. Tonight we wanted wings, and Dominos is only about 10 minutes farther.

Worst pizza delivery app I’ve ever seen

I love Jet’s Pizza, but unfortunately the app is terrible. This app seems like something from 2015 or even older and lacks nearly all features we expect now from a modern food delivery ordering app. It doesn’t seem to remember credit card information. It doesn’t seem to remember delivery addresses. There are no order updates or notifications when the order is on the way or when the driver is getting close. It doesn’t support Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other smartphone-based payment. The list goes on. It’s actually easier to order by phone. Really, Jet’s should be embarrassed by this app.

Adam

Not horrible but could be much better. There are too many screens you have to go through before you can log in to your account and even then you are repeating steps you’ve already been through (such as delivery or take out and entering your address). Credit card info is not stored even if you click the box to have it stored. Basically I can order quicker and easier from other chain pizzerias. I choose to go through the hassle of this app because I like the product.

Mobile App should be pulled from service and shot on sight

Food is great, store personnel are super (Pompano Beach). The delivery is frequently slow and the mobile app needs serious rework. I’d recommend reviewing what you’re competitors are doing.

Problems using app on my iPad:
Can’t delete old addresses
Can’t get it to keep my new address once I type it in, or select it from previous drop downs (we order jet pizza across the country when we travel...it retains every address f o r e v e r.
Why do you start by requiring an address instead of a LOGIN?
Frequently when checking out after entering the payment info the screen rolls back to the order page - no error message, the order isn’t placed, it just wanders back to that page and requires you to enter ALL your payment info again, and again.
I’ve got more but since I don’t even know is anyone is reading or cares, I’ll leave to you. For now I’m deleting your app.

Update

App needs to be updated! All current locations are not listed. Keeps sending us to a store 5 miles away that won’t deliver to us when there is one less than a quarter mile down the street that is not listed on the app! Also bring back the Jetzee!!!

Easier to just call

Each store seems to use a separate ordering system and I don’t think user accounts are shared between them. The UI is not consistent between stores/systems, and you have to enter your address at least twice, if not three times to complete a delivery order. The app itself just redirects you to their web app. Two stars because it does eventually work, but it’s easier and faster to just call your order in.

Terrible

This app is next to useless.
To order, it redirects me to the website. So I’m not even, then using the app.
The click spots don’t like to be clicked. The flavor crust option only lets you pick one flavor. So, no garlic-butter-Parmesan crust for us. I also can’t imagine why I’m not logged in already when I open the app. And when I try logging in; I cannot. Not one of the four names and passwords I have saved in my phone will work.
Please, please look at Hungry Howie’s app. Please. For the love of Jet’s.
For the love of pizza. 🍕
