App is Ruining Product!

The Pura diffuser in concept is great. The marketing is solid, the collaboration with “scent” companies is phenomenal, the packaging and device are appealing. Yet the app, the only way to operate the device, is sorely lacking, and that’s a generous comment. I’m disheartened that there is no manual (non WiFi) feature.

The device constantly goes “offline” when I try to make any adjustment— I’m always a few feet (or less) from the device; the schedule feature is rudimentary and clunky (I couldn’t set it for both scents; I couldn’t remove it without resetting the device); and the time feature is not accurate (I unplugged the device, yet the timer continued).

Although I was eager to try other scents in the collection, I’m hesitant to sink more money into this product. It shouldn’t be this complicated or frustrating to fragrance your surroundings.

Ship Now- Confusing (no confirmation)

Rating this app as a 3 purely for the subscription management piece and experience that I have had. When you select SHIP NOW- no confirmation pops up stating that the request has been received- and the shipment has been moved up. So…if you select Ship Now again (and again) to see if maybe you missed something- those subscription orders ship out. 3 times. With no confirmation until the order is shipped and by then it’s too late to do anything about it.

Please fix the ship now piece of this app to at least send a confirmation via email or a pop up.

Great when it actually works, which is rare these days

I don’t know why they decided to update the hardware, but it ruined the usability. I used to love Pura and recommend it to everyone, but then my device stopped working out of nowhere, so I followed their reset instructions countless times with no luck. After reaching out to support multiple times, I finally got a response. They replaced my device, but I lost an entire scent cartridge to the broken device, and now the app doesn’t connect with my new device half the time - it gets stuck on loading, so I can’t turn the scent on or off. Really disappointing, as it used to be great!

I would love this diffuser if I were to ever received my scents.

I received my diffuser at the beginning of November with 2 great scents. I quickly switched those subscriptions as I was excited to try 2 new scents. I couldn’t wait until my subscription renewal date on Dec. 3rd. I received and email stating that my shipment was in the pre-shipment phase and to give them 7-12 days as they were extra busy. So I waited. After 3 weeks of no communication I reached out to Pura wondering where my new scents were. I chatted with a very nice person who told me that they would be sent out that week. Here I am, waiting, again. No email, no communication as to why. No scents. So, the diffuser is fine. But it’s been almost a month now and I haven’t had scents to use it.
If I had received any communication or email from Pura stating that the fragrances that I chose were out of stock, I would have chosen new ones, but I didn’t. Just waiting for some type of notification from Pura.

Pura diffusers

Pleasant fragrance, not overbearing. However,
software is glitchy, and works inconsistently. Constantly, resetting the functions.
Pleasant when it works…..frustrating when it doesn’t, which is about half the time.

Great App! Just shy of 5 Star

The schedule system is great however my life isn’t scheduled very well haha! I wish there was a timer mode so I can turn it on when I like and then set it for an amount of time so I don’t need to remember to shut it off. Besides that it’s a great app! And great product

Something’s wrong with the app?!

This app used to work so well and consistently for me for months. Over the past 2 weeks, it keeps showing blank spots where my diffuser would be. So I re-connect the diffuser and it’s fine, but that blank slot still sits there! I delete the app, restart my phone, redownload it and it’s still there. Usually with a new device that’s needing reset. It’s driving me nuts. I’ve done this process probably 15 times just in the last 3 days. No idea what happened, but pura pretty please fix this because this app used to be sooo easy and not annoying and that’s what I loved about my Puras the most. Ease of use. It used to amaze me how well the app worked despite me having many diffusers.

Absolutely love these diffusers/scents

I just got my two new diffusers and 4 scent cartridges!! I had purchased two of the same scent, so I got three different kinds; Iron Wood, Pumpkin Macchiato and Vanilla Berry. I absolutely LOVE this! The setup was extremely easy and thorough step-by-step directions made completing setup super quick. The scents are all really great, I love how I can adjust the intensity and schedule each scents independently throughout the day for everyday, including the awesome array of colors to go with them and the brightness level on that as well. Planning on getting a few more and also think this would be great as a gift, so excited to share Pura with my friends and family!!

Pura is great. The App is not.

I have no beef with the hardware or the scents themselves. My problem is with the app. Although navigating the shopping interface has gotten easier recently there is still a lot that, although slick in appearance, is still really inefficient and clunky. When I want to make a new purchase or start a new subscription the app never remembers my payment info so I have to dig for my wallet. I’m not getting up off the sofa to search for a way to spend money on a thing I don’t truly need anyway. I take it as a sign that the universe wants me to save $$. When there is a problem there seems to be at least 3 or 4 ways to get help… Do I tap the brown button in the lower right hand corner? Do I hit the “help” button in the drop down menu? Do I consult the FAQs link at the bottom of the page? Either way I’m not getting my problem resolved anytime soon. So much for impulse shopping. Pita’s loss I guess. Also adding a “wishlist” would be nice.

So far not impressed

It started out good although it took over a week for my order to even be “fulfilled” which seems bizarre since most items ship within 24 hours. It took almost 2 weeks for the order to arrive. Online it says my entire order shipped but on my invoice 2 items are back ordered (they are fragrance samples so no big deal if they never arrive).

The unit connected immediately so that was exciting! Got it set up and it ran a couple of hours. Decided to manually turn off from the app. Now it will not connect to my internet but yet I keep smelling fragrance. I have tried multiple ways to connect it. Super unimpressed. Anything that is supposed to make your life easier should work almost flawlessly. And it’s expensive- $44 for the dispenser.
