iPad compatibility
The app works to my satisfaction on iPhones. I use this mostly when travelling. However the formatting on my iPad is useless. When looking at bookings the prices overlap and are obscured and the trip summary side bar is mis-formatted. It needs a lot of work. I have reported this twice now and received very polite responses to the specific problems. However the problem still exists 3 months later after updates have been released. Using the I pad for bookings would be preferable as this is a larger screen, I hope this problem is not beyond the wit of the developer team.

Stupid app . Don’t download
I had been trying to login into my account for days but each i tried to do that the app just keeps telling me to contact the customer care . When i try to do that the numbers doesn’t work in Australia. I don’t know whether it works in other countries or not but the fact that this app is accessible by everyone and also the customer care doesn’t makes it the worst app . I would highly recommend people not to download the app or make an account and spend your time in something else.

Can’t log in
Used the app once and I’ve tried to login today to book a flight and I can’t login. I have reset the password and it won’t accept the new password. I went online to book and I received an email that I will get 5% discount if I use the app to book ! Ridiculous offer if the app doesn’t work.
New version not loading my iPhone 14 pro
I have recently updated my iOS and using IPhone 14 Pro, after updating the latest version of this app, it doesn’t load. Tried multiple times to delete and install again, also tried to reboot my phone . The app doesn’t work on my phone.!
Constant error messages
My first experience with Malaysia Airlines - not good.
Have tried to check in on line but get constant error message to contact support. Cannot contact support as no address or details. I probably have around 15 airline apps that I use but this is by far the worst and is not worth downloading. My advice is avoid it.

Poor practices - Needs OTP every single time.
Ridiculous UX, the app signs out from time to time and asks for an OTP and the only way you can 2FA is by using you phone number. Guess what Malaysian Airlines, we use your app to travel and getting an OTP on phones is not really ideal.
Terrible app
Bookings with Enrich number (loyalty program) still have to be manually put into the app for trips. Frequently flights earning elite points (upgrading status) are not showing in the app, despite manually adding the flights! And the system to get them credited is bulky, admits it takes days, and there is no feedback when they are not credited. Overall one of the worst administered loyalty programs in airlines and the app reflects that. At least Malaysia Air is more dependable than Asia Air, but this app and their Enrich program need serious attention.

Full of bugs
Slow, full of bugs, pages reload without prompting losing what you were doing.
Right now I have a seat booked and paid for and due to a crash have no idea if I still that seat as it’s asking for payment again…
