    This app is useless. I continually get error message or "the circle of death". I am unable to look at or book shore excursions, dining, or any thing. My cruise is in 40 days & am worried I won't be able to do check in. I have tried different browsers, different ipad/computer /phones, same thing. I have deleted the app & redid it, same thing. I have tried barious times of day, cleared out my cache - nothing.
  • Poor connectivity

    The app has a spotty relationship with the regions WiFi at best, frequently dropping connected right in the middle of a task.

    It also has been unable to find any of my friends to add to chat, even trying to scan their QR codes as instructed. Manually adding them also hasn’t worked yet.

    It’s been a pretty frustrating experience so far.
  • Mostly great, but kinda racist… let my explain

    The new photo verification for checkin provided endless comedy for our household.

    I’m Italian. It immediately recognized my face and captured my photo.

    My wife is Taiwanese. It would not accept her photo for the longest time. She tried different lighting, angles, positions, etc… it only accepted her photo when she got so angry her eyes opened up in rage.

    My daughter looks more like me. Instant photo.

    My son looks more like her. Same shenanigans.

    Our friend just sent us a text saying she could not get the camera functionality to work for the life of her. (She is Asian.)

    Another friend said it instantly recognized her. (She is European.)

    It would appear MSC needs to train their facial recognition on other races.

    I’m a big fan of the cruise line and app, but this section needs work.

    If you are forcing photos for check-in, make sure people can submit their photos with minimal issues.
  • Not pleased with the app

    The app needs some help. Not very user friendly when you’re actually on the boat if you’re not paying for WiFi. We kept running into problems with it the whole trip. There should also be a map on the app and more info about where everything is. They don’t give you maps when you get there. If you’re going to push customers to use the app on the boat and not provide paper copies, the app should be equipped with the information you need.
  • What it has is good but could have more

    I haven’t been able to do the chat. On another cruise line you could input your friends and there would be a locator which was very helpful. Also able to order drinks/food and have it delivered to your location or your room. Another nice feature was ability to click on an activity and Take Me There for gps walking directions for us that are directionally challenged.
    Love that you can make reservations on the app and it goes into your personal agenda.

    Not enough information... regarding where to get food ... times ... the main Buffett closed at 2:00 Pm !!!??? In the middle Lunch period leaving thousands with a miserable hot dog ( when I was in line) run out buns and the MSc staff were serving hot dogs with burgers buns ... the person who designed or who ever is en charged should have put bares and soft drinks stations next to the food !!! Bahamas you can never go wrong it's beautiful... trough out the ship I don't see the excellency on food and service ... you need to invest in supervisor willing to supervise and train the staff ...Ho boy you definitely need that, I know this an extremely large operation but if you were willing to built big invest big in training !!! COVID it's OVER no Excuses!!!
    You asked and this my sincere review ... I could go over and over more about other things like the bar service that you waiting average 15 to 20 minutes for a drink i time it !!
    The area that you definitely need to train and change in my opinion the sistem of service!!

  • MSC is absolutely the best cruise line!

    This is my 2nd MSC cruise and they have not disappointed. The food, service, and mostly the ship itself. I have been on both the Seashore and Seascape and they are absolutely the best ships on water. Book for yourself and see!
  • First day aboard ship

    Yacht club is awesome! Everything is extremely easy and everyone is very friendly! The app is easy to use, once you adjust to the change in layout once you board ship. Looking forward to our cruise aboard the MSC Meravaglia!
  • Messenger doesn't work

    The messages barely worked when they did they'd show a wrong time. You didn't get notifications from them. You basically could only communicate if you got the wifi package. Ig the cruise made up for it their staff is amazing. They work day and night with what seems like minimal sleep and are still nice and efficient.
  • Amazing app !

    The app is very user-friendly and good looking!. The ship is huge! but the app makes it easy to find places and events.
