Security Camera remote acesss
The app is very reliable. I can accessed it most of the times. The cameras are very good. The only complaint is the power supply. Occasionally, one of the cameras does not work because of inadequate power/ poor connection.Frankie 8888
Doesn’t work
I’ve had nothing but trouble with the system. While the pictures are very clear, the app rarely works. I go into the app which connects to the pictures for a few seconds and then immediately goes off-line. I purchased the system so that I could view my cameras remotely, this simply does not work. Your staff is friendly and helpful but the system itself stinks. I truly regret my purchase.Show less451965
Not good
I’m disappointed that I’m forced to give 1 star on this review. This app (product suite) doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
I’ve had GW security system for 3 years and it has never been reliable. This new app is to precede their previous app which was terrible also however at least one could connect to their NVR with the old app.
I was foolishly hopeful that this new app was a step in the right direction however it will not connect to my NVR. Have verified all my settings and I can connect fine through client software installed on my pc but this app will not connect.
Buyer beware, if you want reliability and a decent user interface than this product will surely disappoint you. Don’t take my word for it though, just poke around google for ten minutes and you’ll see for yourself. Do not trust the Amazon adds as they bribe customers to give good review by offering free products. They offered me two free cameras when 2 originals failed on me but only if I provided positive reviews.
Lastly, WHERE IS YOUR PRIVCY POLICY for this app? Right, there isn’t one....hmmmm... I mean isn’t that kind of important for ones surveillance system?!Show lessLateralus74
Definitely getting better. Easier than a lot of other apps
I have been using this app for awhile and it is very fast to render the video unlike several other surveillance camera apps that I use. I would really like the PTZ to be a little less confusing and would strongly like the PTZ camera to have a “home” position on power up. Every time I take a power hit, it is pointing down so the motion alert feature is rendered useless. All in all, this is a good app for remotely watching the live view. Still a little difficult to use it for effective video playback.Show lessBrimanst
Notifications
In the past month we have been having issues getting notifications. Lots more problems than ever before. Several had to delete the app and reinstall to get theirs working. Been really hit or miss. Several have had a problem when updating apps the notification settings have changed. Not very pleased with the service lately.Show lesscdmemt
Struggling
In the beginning when we only had 16 cameras going the system seem to work well. As we added on new cameras the system seems to be dragging.
It’s been very tough working with a hard to reach technical support team. We’re struggling to figure out the problem.struggling10
Much improved but still needs some work
App doesn’t work well when I sync playback on all cameras. Other than that, the app works pretty well. It’s had some major improvements.Double_D_69
Won’t always log on
About half the time I try to log on to my system through the app, it says “Offline” although I know it isn’t.
Otherwise, it’s a good app with lots of nice features.

Nice app, stable and usable
Other than the volume that works randomly from ipad to ipad.
When it works it works well otherwise on some ipads same version ios same everything it does not work.
Also scrolling in time is a great option but the scrolling in time should be more circular then a sliding scale, like a circular dial to auickly go to the scene you need to view other than the jerky never ending sliding scale, also please use gestures in ios like slide left or right to go back or forward in time when you view recordings, at this stage you may keep the sliding scale but a much shorter one and fine tune the time you wish to see with a left or right slide on the image itself.
