  • Not bad, but could be better

This is a pretty decent remote viewer app for my GW camera system. But the major improvement I’d like to see is the ability to fine tune notifications, so I can a notification for motion detection, but turn off notifications for loss of signal which is constantly happening when using WiFi cameras. As it is, if I leave notifications turned on, I get dozens of them for loss of signal, instead of the two or three I actually want for motion detected. So I just turn notifications off, which isn’t helpful.

    Excellent service
  • Tech Support

I contacted their support group for assistance during installation. They were the best of any tech support I have ever used for anything. Incredibly detailed and patient. They followed up and stayed with me until all problems were resolved.
  • Works so far

Have my GW Security system set up and can see all cameras. There is a delay but not long - few seconds. My cameras are POE and wifi. Have accessed the cameras from several miles and out of the country from my network without any issues. The technical staff is very knowledgeable of their products and extremely helpful.

  • Works well

May may have been a few bugs when I first started using it several years ago but now it works very well.
  • Not bad video quality could be better

Over all good interface. It is easy enough to use. I also have Clearview and with the same cameras there is better image quality.
  • Input time

The app is much better than the other versions I’ve had to deal with... one feature some others had was the ability to input time/date on playback as opposed to scrolling through an entire day. Is this something you can add?
  • Playback

Playback controls could be improved; easier date navigation, synchronize time on all displayed windows, option to keep playback control bar at bottom displayed continuously, have not figured out how to force playback to jump to next recorded segment.
  • Rebooting system

Why do I have at least 1 to 2 cameras that loses its signal I have to reboot the system very often to get it to clear up I’ve checked connections and everything I can think of it’s been happening for a long time
  • App doesn’t work

What’s the point of paying for a microphone enabled camera system if it’s not even going to work? The old app at least gave me access on some of my devices. The new app doesn’t allow me any access. I bought the same system thinking it would give me the same results but it seems useless now. Tried to contact them but to no avail.
