More functionality
Need to develope more apps for this cameras very poor app
More pixels resolution, need audio compatible says it does but is doesn’t we try and try and couldn’t, 2 cameras went bad after the first 2 months of use, I wouldn’t recommended at allLeoncito75
GW app needs a lot of work!
GW customer service and camera system are good but the app needs a lot of improvements. It has trouble connecting sometimes and will not load the image without going to another camera view and back to the one that wouldn’t load. Needs motion push notifications. Motion notification is a must for any surveillance system and not by email. It needs more ways to view multiple cameras. The app needs to be fixed. It doesn’t not represent GW very well. I was pleased with my system and service until I started using the app. I am now looking at other systems with a better app and plan to switch if the app does not improve in the next few months.Show lessTony f188
Mostly reliable
There have been occasions when one or more of the cameras stop recording and message displayed is “Resources not enough”. When that happens I have to reboot the system.HarleySoftail66
Slow to run
When I open the app it sometimes takes 3 times to open and close app before the app runs the cameras same thing on my computer it takes a few try’s to open the cameras. Works slow any advice on how to make it open faster?RJ129129
Great customer support
Other systems from foreign countries have zero live person support. GWS has live support on the phone or by email. The system is very good, but instructions for setup need to be enhanced for details and explanation of what entries mean.baflyboy2
New update is worse.
The old version worked fine for me. I was used to it’s kinks. The new version has a lot of new features, which is a plus, but now you get less space on the camera view. There’s half a screen for the camera view with a lot of dead white space at the bottom, & it’s constantly having issues with playback. It’s frustrating.
Please, keep the new features of being able to access and change things remotely with the nvr, but design something that works so you can easily view your cams and play them back.Show lessJe77ica
Not compatible with Samsung tablet
Can’t even download the app on my tablet. My tablet broke and my replacement didn’t have of old apps and did not have it backed up. Tried to download the GWCAMVIEW and it says it’s not compatible with my tablet. How can you update your entire platform and not make it compatible with all screen sizes and types. I checked my cameras primarily on my tablet and now I must only use my phone. Plus it will often not connect with NVR as well. Super disappointed with the functionality. I like the new look and when it connects it seems to work better than the old app but still overall poor.Show lessSimon8289
New update not so great
This new update has completely changed the look of the app. I like some of the new features but dislike and miss the old version because the camera screen is way smaller in home page and has so much extra white space and you have to constantly rotate phonespicydragonlady
No Playback...
I’ve had this app for over a year and the viewing has worked very good. I’ve been able to view my home while on vacation outside the country. My only complaint is the playback, it just doesn’t work. Otherwise I would have given this app a five star rating. I hope this functionality can be corrected.Show lesscalpr
So far so good..
I have used many remote view apps and this works as well as commercial apps. The playback function can you some fine-tuning for the date selection, otherwise it works.rTech1000
