  • The worst banking service and app

    Somebody sent me money through Liv, and that the only reason I opened an account. But that process itself is deceiving. It asks you if you just want the money but it ends up forcing you to open an account. Being an American citizen, I had to go through endless checks and even had to upload a picture to the app itself. The app is super buggy and it is clear that it hasn’t been tested thoroughly. Logging into the app was a nightmare to boot - and I am a techie.
    Now, I needed to close the app. Called a ENBD and they told me to go the branch. Took time off to go to the branch, to be told that I needed to call a number and they can’t even give me my cash at the branch. Called the number only to find out it is not manned by a human, and all it does is direct you to the app or to email them. I emailed them, and then got an automated email back saying no one monitors that email and with some instructions on how I needed to chat with the automated bot. If this is not the WORST banking experience, I donno what is.

  • Registration for a credit card

    Now these a days ,If you are a student and willing to register for credit card they don’t allow that anymore and they just don’t tell you that and not responding , the automated massage just say error sorry we cant serve your banking need due to internal policy, why did you accept students from the beginning if you are will at a certain time to not allow some students while others are using it until now... it seems unfair i will look for another bank..

    We're very sorry for the misunderstanding. But, you need to be a salaried professional to get a credit card with any bank in the UAE. These are rules and regulations we cannot amend, unfortunately. We do hope you can enjoy the rest of the Liv. products until you're ready for the Liv. Credit card! :)
  • This digital system does not work

    I opened a Liv account and whilst waiting for my card delivery transferred money into it. However due to a problem with their system, their machine would not accept my finger print and I could not receive my card. I then tried to close the account and have my money returned to me, but 2 months later this has still not been done. It is impossible to speak to a human being on this digital banking system.

  • Worst app ever

    This is unacceptable I was unable to purchase or withdraw any money from my account yesterday and the app did not tell me anything my money was there but I couldn’t use any of it and the costumer service is horrible they would take atleast 2 hours to respond to 1 message and the online bot Olivia is not good and I have tried to contact Liv. over 10 times and no response.

  • Literally pick any other bank

    Liv is borderline arrogant with their terrible customer service. They want your money but are more than happy to leave their customers out with the trash when problems arise. Currently the whole app isn’t working, not allowing sign in. No access to customer service and best of all NO ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY. All transactions are being declined for myself despite the fact that I got a text from Liv. saying I received 3,000dhs in the morning. No phone contact, their website refuses to allow you to send an email complaint. They are content to sit and drink their tea while customers suffer the consequences. And of course they would never dream of attempting to compensate their customers for the trouble. The only reason they have any customers is because of the difficulties students and others have in opening bank accounts. It’s obvious from their actions that they don’t actually care about providing services to their customers. They just want to capitalize on a market for their own profits. And treat customers like insects in the process. Literally pick any other bank for a modicum of accountability.
