Useless, cannot register new card

Got my new bank card. And the app hangs after typing last digit of the card number. Can it be any more useless?

Horrible app. User hostile

This app is absolutely horrid. It seems they wrote it specifically with the intention to break password managers. When you try to set up an account it jumps seemingly randomly between fields, making it really difficult to use. It then forces you to set up three “security” questions because if you forget your password surely you will remember one of these three additional passwords. It then forgets that you already told it your phone number, and verified it, and makes you enter it again.

It is like this was a C-graded high school project. I'm so glad I don't have any of my own money with Citi because if this is the bank's general level of software quality I'm sure the money would be long gone really fast.

Oddly useless.

So this app is easy to access which is good. I don’t know if it’s the app, the GTC, or way citi does billing but I can rarely reconcile my balance. And I mean I have $7,500 limit and four transactions and can rarely say for certain what’s hit the card or not. I usually see numerous pending transactions that stick around for a week or more. It seems like it takes a while for payments to post so you don’t really know if you have a balance or not. I’ve over paid the card at least three times just to be safe and then had to call and get it wired back- which is relatively easy. All in all, if they just fixed this to make it clear what your balance is it would be a solid app/experience. Until then, it has the appearance of something they get to bill the government far too much for.

Awful

Can't use apple pay, can't pay in the app. So so basic compared to every other fintech app I use.

Buggy and missing basic features

The app has some sort of error that causes my phone to get very hot very quickly and they haven’t fixed it after years of reporting it. The app is only useful for checking your balance and paying it, it is missing basically every other management function. There’s no good reason for the app to even exist in its current state.

Just a bit naff!

Touch ID never works, just the spinning, please wait wheel, before the inevitable time out.

Waste of my time

App loaded fine, when I entered my user name and password I watched the Apple spinning wheel for a minute or 2 before timing out. After 2 subsequent attempts it locked my account. Had to call Citi, they reset my password attempts without resetting the password and I then got in with no problem through the Citi Manager web portal using my laptop. Will delete the App from my phone and move on, life’s too short!

CitiManager is trash

Really frustrated with this company. Never understood why the US Gov went with them to handle all accounts pertaining to travel. Just trying to setup an online acct and system won’t verify me. Called customer service and entered my card number 3xs, got transferred twice and still unable to access my account online. This company is a joke.

App Says My iPhone is Jailbroken

After updating to the latest iOS version on my iPhone 15 Pro I keep getting a message when I open the CitiManager app that says my phone is jailbroken and the app force closes. I know my iPhone is not jailbroken and confirmed this by checking my device. Others have experienced this issue and say the app developers need to update their app. HELP please!

Still no Apple Pay support

Pretty basic app and Citi corp credit card still doesn’t support Apple Pay - very old fashioned and backwards company.
