This app is more than just a daily devotional. This is real people, being guided by scripture and professionals and putting realness behind every word and makes it so transparent with anything you are dealing with. Even if you don’t have struggles, this app will still give you piece of mind on things that you keep hidden inside. PLEASE take it from me, a recovering addict and son of God, This app has been my guide to answering tough questions and getting closer to my higher spirit. The best devotional I’ve found so far!
I just recently re-subscribed to a year worth of the practice co. I have read their devotional before but I got distracted with other things and I honestly missed them! The words are always welcome, whether as a challenge or a renewed hope. As a visual person I find myself looking forward to the photo/verse/wallpaper of the day and they never disappoint! Breath of fresh air
Made the switch to pocketfuel after subscribing to the DVO app for a couple of years. The devotionals have helped me immensely... the insight, knowledge, application and point of view of familiar bible passages and biblical teachings is truly a breath of fresh air. Being a Christian my whole life, these devotions came at a time when I needed them, so I could stay fresh and invested in my faith. Forever grateful to my friend who told me to get it years back.
There are so many times when the verse of the day I know by heart, and the teachings around it I could tell you verbatim, but then the devotion surprises me and gives a perspective I haven’t ever heard in a sermon.

Food for the Soul
I discovered the Pocket Fuel app via scrolling through Instagram. As someone that is more spiritual than religious, I wasn’t sure if this would be something that would appeal to me. I can now say that a few months after discovering this app and the content Liz and Jesse create, Pocket Fuel has become a part of my morning and evening routines.
Their daily devotional messages are like food for my soul. When I’m reading the passage for the morning, I feel as though I’m receiving spiritual guidance without being preached to. It’s almost as if I’m reading short chapters from a self-help book that just so happens to be based on biblical events.
I highly recommend this app to anyone, whether you’re really religious or just someone looking to become better aligned with your soul. I believe this app provides a soul soothing message for everyone. 🙏🏽Show lessSol7!!
Morning God-Wink!
I’m not sure how I stumbled on this app...but I’m sure glad I did❣️ I have all kind of devotionals, but eventually, I was just going through the motions, reading but not thinking. In retrospect, many mornings I felt inadequate after reading them; feeling like I would never measure up. And then I discovered Pocket Fuel! It was like Lizzie had been riding around in my back pocket, knowing my insecurities, highs and lows, and all the in between. It is like sharing a cup of coffee with a nonjudgmental friend every morning that can put my thoughts into words. Serenity and peace - a true gift to all its readers.
I have to start off by saying I’ve never in my life been a wildly religious person. I started reading devotions recently as a way to connect myself with someone I know will always have the right path for me in mind. This platform provides a convenient yet simplistically powerful message every single day. I read it at night as a way for my brain to ease before I sleep. I rejoice in the fact I’ll have another tomorrow to look forward to. The words make sense. The meaning is truthful and is no more and no less than what is needed every single day. It’s informative, and yet a wonderful short story all wrapped into a post covered by an inspirational quote that triggers you to start developing emotions towards it. I’m proud to be a part of this and I would scream from the rooftops how amazing it is, but for the sake of my neighbors I digress here in this review. Love it!
This app is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I grew up in a religious family, going to church on Sunday and saying my nightly prayers with my parents.
Like some teenagers, I got lost and questioned my faith in God. I stopped going to church, stopped reading the word, and turned away. I tried filling myself up to the brim with school work and activities to keep me distracted from what I truly felt. I felt alone, depressed, and abandoned. I’ve tried app after app trying to force some sort of reconnection to give me the comfort that He was still there. None of them really resonated with me. They seemed empty, like there was no legitimate energy to them. I felt discouraged.
Pocket Fuel has done everything right for me. Just two weeks ago I decided to try finding God again. I found this app and it’s been fantastic! The devotionals have such powerful messages written in a way that I can understand and make me think. The messages stick with me all day, I always find myself going back to what I read and I really find that important. The app is easy to use, the wallpapers are fantastic, and it overall helps me guide myself through this. I’m thankful for finding the app when I did :)Show lessWLflowergardens

Down to earth wisdom that connects
I think what’s neat about the nature of what these guys communicate is that it’s not just those watered down hallmark encouragements that are more annoying than they are helpful (you know what I mean?). I personally find it well researched, down to earth wisdom that actually connects with me and the real life stuff I encounter, and, more specifically, invites me to consider God IN those places.
