Amazing!

Simply the best.

SMS notifications donโ€™t alert sometimes

Do. It get sms notifications sometimes , Iโ€™ve to use slack to get notifications.

I have used OpenPhone for over three years and have always been highly satisfied with the product and service. Excellent price, highly versatile and full of feature that actually function as expected. I also see that the company works hard to address defects quickly and issue upgrades. I have recommended it to all my friends looking to have a soft phone or a second phone line.

A truly functional app of convenience for small businesses

Iโ€™m happy to have found the OpenPhone app years ago when I started my business. It affords me the convenience of receiving business calls on my one mobile phone, without needing to carry two phones. I can also have separate accounts for frontline team members. I like it!

Scam

This company & website is very difficult to use. At first - everything seemed straight forward. I was easily able to setup my โ€œfreeโ€ trial period. However in order to use the text functions - it required me to โ€œregisterโ€ the phone number. BUT in order to register the phone number - I would need to be on a paid subscription (not on a trial). So I paid my $180 to get this setup. The registration is no joke!!! They need a Fed ID Number (if for business use) - along with sample texts that you may be sending. After going through their registration application - I decided that this is not for me. And instead I would prefer to setup a second line on my cell phone through AT&T. This is where I have an issue with this companyโ€ฆ no where on this website or app is a phone number to call. And in further looking over their cancellation policy - they say there is NO REFUNDS. WHAT?!?!? This was not mentioned when the pop up appeared to switch over to a paid membership in order to register the phone number. So now I have had the phone number for a total of 1 day and am out $180.

Simply The Best!

I have used many different business VoIP software for my business over the yearsโ€ฆ the rest were all just okay. Then a friend referred OpenPhone and it has been amazing. Itโ€™s simply the best! I wish I would have found it years ago. 5/5 stars

Complex Registration

Hello! So I just tried to sign up for the phone app and I was denied within hours due to that they thought my information was invalid. The guy responded back quick and opened up the account which was great. Then if you want to use the service to texts you have to register. ( you also have to pay monthly for the service and pay an application fee to register) Now this is the tricky part. You have the answer questions and it gets sent somewhere to determine eligibility. Iโ€™m a group home manager so I answered the best way possible and I was denied. I got an email and said to try again and once I tried I couldnโ€™t resubmit. Which they do state basically they donโ€™t want just anyone misusing the app but if Iโ€™m paying for it, it really shouldnโ€™t be to much of a problem. But anyways, I contacted customer support and I am waiting now for a response, which isnโ€™t has quick as before. So presuming, quick to take money slow to fix an issue. Also, you can possibly wait 30 days for it to activate for texting, just so everyone is aware. But I will update on how long this takes and see how they will fix the issue.

Few very old bugs still

Unable to sync contact on cloud, sometimes sync fails for few contacts.

Pending Notifications for text messaging stays in cloud till I open the app and then they appear.

Ringtone canโ€™t be changed, after switching to 2nd ringtone the system automatically switches back to the previous one.
