App is alright just takes forever to get anything

Good

It’s nice being able to earn while playing the games you like to play, but you can’t earn as much and as quickly as you think. What I like about this app is that you can choose which games you want to play and the app keeps track of the games that you enjoy I think based off the feedback given as well and adds more of the same type of games. One thing I don’t like is that sometimes even when you first install a game as instructed and allow tracking, the app doesn’t track progress and if you reach out to their customer service team to raise this they just advise you’ve not followed instructions correctly or try to say you already had game installed prior, I think this definitely needs to be looked into more because it makes using the app less enjoyable!
One thing to add is the app has recently become VERY slow and it take a few minutes to lead which is frustrating.

Good

Testerup is an app that allows users to earn rewards by testing and reviewing various applications and games. The concept is straightforward: you download apps, use them, and then provide feedback based on your experience. Here’s a breakdown of its features and overall performance.

One of the main strengths of Testerup is its user-friendly interface. The app is easy to navigate, making it accessible for users of all ages. The process of finding apps to test is simple, and the instructions for providing feedback are clear. Additionally, the variety of apps available for testing keeps the experience fresh and engaging, as users can explore different genres and functionalities.

However, there are some downsides to consider. Some users report that the rewards can be slow to accumulate, and the payout threshold might feel a bit high for casual testers. Additionally, the availability of apps may vary based on your location, which can limit opportunities for some users. Overall, Testerup can be a fun way to earn rewards while exploring new apps, but it may require some patience to see significant returns.

I love it

I really like the testerup app. I really have no life and play a lot of games on my phone anyway. I stumbled upon this app somehow, and figured…why not.
The 2 issues ive ran into is come of the games I’ve already downloaded before, so I can’t play them here for money because they are for 1st time users. The other issue is a few times it never counted when I downloaded a game. The little mark just kept spinning, unfortunately I didn’t pay attention until after I had played several levels. I guess after reading a few of the other reviews I could have notified customer service and tried to get it straightened out, but I didn’t bother.
The total payout is almost impossible to complete for the entire game. Some of the level pays are pretty low, but I’m sitting around playing games anyway. No biggie.
I’ve found several games that I just couldn’t get into, but I could just cash out on the game and continue on with the others.
For me, i really like the whole concept, and made about $200 in 2 months…I haven’t cashed out yet, so I guess we will see how that goes.

Slow and steady no scam

This app is good but is very time consuming to get £70. I did this over 3-4 weeks initially and most money came from games you had to put your money in first. Then the next offer I’ve been on the road to £70 for the past 10 days. You have to play like 2-4 hours a day on the app to see results. And it’s better to have 4 apps you’re testing at once. Some of the targets with money are unachievable or require you to purchase from the app. Like you can get £65 if you reach a particular level in 3 days which is impossible especially as some of the games don’t regenerate quickly. This game is okay as a pass time and occasionally give money. Some of the games you test are fun. Initially withdrawing money was took about 3 days for my PayPal to be verified but the payout from PayPal was quick once the money arrived.

It’s a good app but the money is not as quick as advertised but it is not a scam.

Good and pays out but still needs work

This app has been really good, it pays out after you scan your face and actually drops the money in your PayPal within 1-2 days however the game selection is rubbish, I think besides one-2 games I enjoyed playing however the rest are either merge games/ fake slots/ raider games and sometimes it doesn’t register on the app that you’ve downloaded it even if you’ve followed the instructions however it’s a rarity it’s happened a few times I’ve decided to download an app and it’s not registered on the app that I’ve downloaded it despite clicking allow on the tracking and running the app after downloading from the app, definitely needs a better selection of games to choose from as I’ve only just withdrawn £70 and that took 3 months, however most of the games available begin to feel like a chore after a while, with a better selection of gaming apps this app could really be one of the best out there to earn money just a let down with the game selection. If your looking for a good app to win money quickly I recommend match masters/ monopoly neither of those feel like a choir either.

Very serious but very great people

I have been with Testerup for over a year now and this app is the best game tester app I have ever used. Testerup in my eyes are BETTER than MVP in every shape, form and function for new people the payout to PayPal does take a little bit longer but after that payout you only have to wait for 3 days to receive it. I have referred every mobile gamer at my church to this app and they absolutely love it and if they have any problems with it I would fix it and show them how to actually be able to fix their phones game tracker and show them how to get the game they like through the app or fix their google account to where they can simply login through the Testerup app. The people who helped me with any issues with the app are very knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding and do care about the people using their app. I really like the games that they put on the app except for the slot machine games and the bingo games but every thing else I love! They pay through PayPal so if don't have a PayPal account or card I suggest going through the app NOT THE PREPAID one the regular one and get it set up then get a card by the way it's free to order through the PayPal app. If i could I would give this app 10 stars and if they ever wanted to do a commercial I would send in my application indefinitely!

Very weird but seems legit

A few notes: the cash sums are misleading because a lot of them are reimbursements for in-game purchases. Lots of the games are the grind and level up or pay through the nose sort, meaning they slow all the way down after the first few goals. Probably quicker to cash out after a few and go onto the next than try to plough through increasingly time-consuming targets, but to each their own.

Main gripes I have - you’re still getting paid to play, after all - are that a) you can’t actually feed back to devs when games are buggy - so it’s not really “testing” at all - and b) the menu doesn’t update properly, so decent-looking games can be gone while the menu still shows them as only half-full.

I suspect this is ultimately a way to skew App Store figures using a marketing budget rather than actually anything to do with testing, but I’ve made two quid in three days playing on my phone so I’m not complaining.

I recommend against it if you’re in Ontario

When I went to cash out it had me put in my address and it’s telling me that my postal code is not a valid Canadian postal code. I’ve lived here my life and I’ve had the same code and assure you that it is a Canada postal code.

UPDATE: It’s not bad

UPDATE: Customer service did finally reach out and I did eventually figure out on my own how to sign back into my account. It was still frustrating having to send screen recordings after reaching each goal because it still wouldn’t track my progress. I would also have occasional issues with other games not tracking either, but subsequent inquires on the same customer service ticket were generally answered quicker (~3-5 days). I finally cashed out after about 3 months so if you think the time and hassle is worth it, it’s not a bad app.

———I reached out to customer service because one of the games I downloaded stopped tracking and I never heard back. Fine. I just downloaded other games and seemed to be making steady progress until I was forcefully signed out of the app. Every attempt to sign back in has been met with error messages followed by a request to reach out to customer service which I already know is useless since they still haven’t responded to my first customer service request. Looks like I wasted all my time for nothing. I should stick to apps with guaranteed cash out at any amount rather than apps like these where you can’t cash out until an outrageous goal is met and any convenient technical glitch can keep you away from all the money you have earned so far. Very frustrating to have spent almost a month on this for nothing.
