  • Unreliable

    The app and web browser fails to load 9 out of 10 times, whether I'm using the mobile app or web browser version. I'm consistently met with an endless loading screen that prevents me from accessing my schedule. This issue has persisted for weeks, making the app essentially unusable.

    The unreliability of Allocate Me has significant impacts on my work:
    - Wasted time repeatedly attempting to log in
    - Inability to check or plan my shifts in advance
    - Increased stress due to scheduling uncertainty

    While the interface seems straightforward when it occasionally works, the persistent login issues negate any potential benefits.

    To the developers: Please prioritise fixing these critical login problems. As healthcare professionals, we need dependable tools to manage our busy schedules. Consider implementing:
    1. More robust login processes
    2. Improved app stability
    3. Clear error messages when issues occur
    4. A backup method for accessing schedules during outages

    Until these problems are resolved, I cannot recommend Allocate Me to colleagues. A scheduling app that doesn't allow you to access your schedule is, unfortunately, worthless in our field.

    I sincerely hope to see significant improvements soon, as the concept of the app is needed in our profession. However, in its current state, it's causing more problems than it solves.

  • Shocking

    I don’t have much more to add than Sophiee0600 who has said it all really. Constantly being logged out despite ticking the ‘Remember Me’ box. When I add my log in details, it’s a complete gamble as to whether it will actually allow me in or just give me a pretty little swirly feature until either I cease living or I shut the app down. Facial recognition is a total waste of time. Just make sure you don’t leave your shift or annual leave requests until the last minute because you can guarantee this app will screw that up for you. Someone who knows what they’re doing, please update this mess.

  • Poorly built system

    Like a lot of others, I am usually only successful at actually getting into the app about 1 in 10 times of trying. Once in, I can see my current rotas, but not my past ones & have no way of telling whether a shift has been locked down or sent to payroll. As a bank worker, I need to know. Usually, I go for the website, which is clearer, easier to navigate, and has this information, even on a phone. However, even on that I can only log in about 1 in 7 times - not a marked improvement really. I have come to the conclusion that the whole system is just poor and far from up to standard. I really cannot work out why so many NHS employers opt to use it. But sadly, they do, so there is no other option.

  • Horendous!

    Do the makers of this app actually read the reviews?? This has got to be the worst app I have ever had the misfortune of having to use. As people say time and time again. The login process is soooo long and arduous. Again like so many others it never seems to remember my password even when I tick the ‘remember my password’ button. It the takes forever to load if that is it loads at all. Please sort this dreadful app out as unfortunately I have no choice but to use it. It does however seem easier to leave a bad review about it than it actually is to use it!

  • Time consuming to login every time

    As everyone here commented, it is difficult to log in and the App asks for email and password almost every time I need to check on the Rota.. despite ticking remember me.. even My banks app is easier to log into compared to this while banks obviously more secure than this app. Developers I am sure you are reading the reviews but you have not yet attempted to fix it despite few recent releases..I would imagine this shouldn’t take huge amount of time to fix.. as many others said: if it was not for work-NHS I would have definitely not used this app at all.. I feel that the owner / developer taking people as ransom not fixing it as they know employers are using them.. I’m sure , due to many complaints employers including NHS will use different App . I am hoping that will be soon.

  • Awful

    If you’re reading this, bad luck, looks like your employer has made the unwise choice of using the Allocate group of rota software.
    Quite simply - the app is non functional. You’ll see from the other views that it is utterly unreliable, and it seems that Allocate have no interest in fixing it.
    This software makes my job unsafe. It’s so unreliable that I regularly cannot see who I am working with. To be clear - as a Consultant, I cannot see from the app who my Registrar on-call is.
    If you are reading this review and have a choice over which rota software you use, then choose wisely. Sadly my employer did not.

  • Unable to log in

    This app has been awful trying to log in and although there are many many users reporting the problem for 3 years nothing has been done.
    Spins for ages, the password reminder tab is useless as it does not work. Face recognition occasionally works but not often. Jumpy between pages and sometimes just randomly logs off.

    However now reached an all time low - I have not been able to log in at all for 2 days it just spins even the app assistance is no good as it takes you to a log in page which don’t work.
    I am using IOS and safari but also tried via google and still nothing. This needs sorting as so many staff need it for work.

  • Unstable

    This is the most frustrating App on my phone. If I didn’t need it for work I would not put up with it a moment longer. It regularly crashes or denies access, it will not remember your login and is so unstable it drops out during use. It is not fit for purpose please sort it out! That was my previous review several months on nothing has changed in fact I have had to delete and re down load this app each time I use it as it is so unstable why can this not be improved?? Allocate Me remains not fit for purpose for the love of God please sort it out! Jan 2021 NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!! What is wrong with this app??? Why can you not improve it. Why doesn’t the NHS invest in better IT systems???? Feb 2021 EVERY time I use this app I have to reinstall it why????? March 2022 nothing has changed! Who has responsibility for this app??? March 2023 STILL DREADFULL NOTHING HAS CHANGED. This am I have deleted and uploaded this appalling app and it still is not working!!!

    Remains APPALLING! unstable, doesn’t remember your login, unreliable. If I was as efficient as this app at my job , people would die!! Sort it out for the love of God! 🤬

  • Awful app,

    Never works when you want it to. Can never access my shifts. I alway just scream shot my shifts when I’m in work. When you do eventually get on it and I mean every 100 times I try it probably opens once. But when I do eventually get on there and see my shifts but sometimes forget to check. If I go back on it it starts didgeing out. Have have to delete the app and re-download loads again. It’s probably the cheapest of the cheap softwhere and that’s probably why ABUHB went for it. Absolutely dreadful waste of time and so frustrating, there better off not having nothing, at least you know you have to check your shifts every week in work then.

  • awful app

    absolutely awful, if I didn’t need it for work it’d be immediately gone. you can never log in properly, it probably takes on average 5 attempts for me to get in. if the login screen even shows up, it’s a gamble whether the sign in button will work. if that works, it’s a gamble whether it’ll work when i enter my details (and it NEVER saves my email and password even though I select remember me every time). after that it usually just shows a loading screen indefinitely, again it’s a gamble whether it’ll get to the face id part. if it does it usually gets stuck on a loading screen again. if you ever do make it through all this, the app itself it’s fine, it’s just the worst login and start up process of any app I’ve ever seen, and it has always been this way since my work started using it, in fact if anything it’s getting worse.

    I’m currently on my 8th attempt at trying to get into the app and I’m only writing this review so that I don’t throw my phone out of the window. if I could give it less than 1 star I would, whoever made this app had no business being ever touching anything like this with how shockingly poor it is, they ought to join me on the ward floor and do something actually useful.
