  • This is the worst app I have ever used!

    You can tell this is a government based app, as too many people sat in meetings they didn’t need to go to in order to “look busy” at the expense and waste of tax payers money to have a say in an app that simply doesn’t work.

    On the odd occasions when it does, it’s extremely difficult to use, then kicks you out of the app randomly when you’re in the middle of trying to do something.

    If this was an app where the creators had to earn money from the end users, then they would have gone bust a long time ago, quite clearly they are making their money robbing the tax payer in producing something only a government organisation could possibly want… and we all know how well government and IT project go hand in hand…

    Do the app creators really hate and disrespect their end users so much so as to make such a sloppy, badly coded and poorly designed app, and then have the audacity to put their name on it?

    It’s absolutely outstanding how bad this app is. If I wasn’t forced to use it by my employer in order to book annual leave, it would have been deleted from my phone within seconds of downloading it.

  • Quite Possibly the Most Frustrating App I’ve Ever Used

    Logs out constantly, then takes the best part of forever to log back in. The “remember me” function is useless, as it has never once remembered me. Slow, clunky, frustrating, and the app developers seem to have no desire to fix it as it has been terrible since its inception, probably because they have the NHS over a barrel, meaning NHS employees are forced into using this app, in the vague hope of being able to see their rosters (which is laughable). Currently pot luck as to whether all your shifts actually show when you log in, meaning that staff don’t show up to work or training because they don’t know they’re meant to be there. An app so truly rubbish I’ve been motivated to right my first app review ever. One star, purely because I can’t give a zero rating.

  • constantly crashing !!

    What a nightmare app, constantly crashing, does annoying flashing thing , logs me out then keeps thowing me back out to log in again. There is nothing easy about it, if you quickly need to check your rosta its of no use to you. Ive gone back to carrying a pocket calendar in my works pocket so i know what shifts im working. Annoying my work collegues on group chat, to look at rota to see what shift im working isnt good. The app is far to buggy, no solutions despite the developer seeing the reviews. I honestly think there is no longer any support for this app. You have broken the app, find it, fix it and let us see our rota ! I pray NHS dumps this and invests in a app that works !

  • Terrible, useless, dosen't work

    Since moving over to electronic rostering this app was supposed for me to be able to book holidays and look at my shifts from home. But from day one it hasn't worked, most of the time it won't even load up. I've tried deleting the app and are installing it if that would help but it dosen't. This is a constant problem I think with every user but so far the makers of allocate me don't seem to care or be bothered to correct this problem even though every review seems to comment on this issue. I wouldn't recommend downloading this app save your memory space an app watching paint dry would be more useful than this one

  • Don’t waste your time

    If I could have left a review with no stars I would but reluctantly had to leave at least one star so that I could leave feedback. The app crashes regularly, doesn’t save shifts, prevents you from logging in and flashes, unresponsive to face recognition .... the issues are endless. I now use the web interface on a PC which seems a bit more stable but is not always convenient as I don’t always have access to a desktop or laptop.
    NHS really need to find an alternative software provider as looking at some of the reviews on here seem to be the same 12 months + on and have still not been resolved.

  • Terrible, not working, no help available

    I was sort of ok with this app to begin with, it would sometimes flash and do weird stuff but if I close the window and reopen again it would work still. Now, for the past two months, it stopped working completely, I use this to book my bank shifts, was seeking help from the trust, but they couldn't do much for me, it's a fault of the app, so because of that I can't book any bank shifts now, which is frustrating and sad. App just stopped working, I can't log in, it appears logging in but then throws me back to the begin screen where it asks to login again, so annoying, hep button doesn't work, there is no help desk or anything I could find on the app or google how to fix it, can't find a way to contact the developer to look into it. Very disappointed, and the lack of support is appalling, I heard my trust is seeking another app to use for the bank staff, and I hope they'll find it soon.

  • Horrible, useless app

    Not user friendly in the slightest. Takes three+ attempts to log in (even with face recognition) pretty much every time. Constantly throwing me out to log in again anytime I click the Teams option to see the full rota. And when I finally get to Teams, it shows me a time-out error. Been nothing but a waste of time since our workplace started using this crap. Really hoping they use another service ASAP, because this is HORRIBLE.

    Clearly this was the cheapest option the NHS could find for a rota app...and we’re definitely getting what they paid for.

    (And no, updates haven’t improved anything at all; yes, I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times and still have all the same issues. It’s just a terrible app, as evidenced by the App Store rating and all the other reviews echoing the same complaints I’ve highlighted. “Contact us via email” but nothing ever improves.)

  • This app just never lets me log in

    This infuriating app is next to useless. 90% of the time I cannot log in. I either get a timeout server error or just get stuck in a vicious loop of using my fingerprint, being told to try again, trying again and being told to try again and so on until I get so annoyed I stop trying. On the rare 10% of times I can log in it does function, I can request shifts and view my off duty and leave but it’s so unreliable it isn’t worth the space it takes up on my phone. Please please make it run smoothly so time pressed, already vexed NHS staff can actually just log in the first time they try 🙏🏼

  • Great when it works but...

    This is a great app for work duties however nine times out of ten there is a problem accessing it. I have to login with email and password even though I have allowed facial recognition. Really there is no point!
    When I have logged in it either takes 5 minutes to open to the home page and even then it doesn’t open. I have found on several occasions that when I thought it was working I click on the app to find it flickering and unable to function. The only remedy for this is to delete the app unfortunately. Please can you sort these issues as it is a good app.

  • Access frustration , contact us difficulties

    Every time I open the app I have to use my email and password to log in. It does not remember me, although I always tick the remember me box, and the my Face ID only works after I have manually logged in. I can never open the app and use Face ID, it always requests my email and password manually.
    When I tried to feedback using contact us it would not send my text, I tried to attach a picture and again no joy, so the contact us part is not working which is frustrating when you are trying to contact about a previous frustration with the app!
