App not working
I paid for a rental bike here in Newport News in the bike when I said it unlocked never unlocked and it kept charging me for the bike and wouldn’t let me in the rental
A pain to use
The app is a pain to use. I tried a couple bikes and got charged $5 for 2 seconds because of issues trying to unlock bikes. Then when I thought I ended the rental it kept charging me and had to go back and end rental several times before it ended
Terrible app
I cannot stress enough how bad this app is. It is deplorable. You would think in 2021 there would be some standard or bar that an app would need to work at but clearly not for these people. The app is glitchy and often will not even open on request.
Never could ride,
We downloaded app and got one bike rented. I was with my husband and we tried to rent a second bike on same app snd it wouldn’t work. Gave up. Downloaded app on second phone. Still no luck. Wish we had brought our own bikes.
Convenient
Rented a bike while camping with my family. I don’t ride bike often so I don’t have my own, my kids always brings theirs camping. It was so nice to enjoy a bike ride on the trails with them! The app had some trouble connecting but I think low battery in some of the bike locks were mostly to blame.
Great ride
Very easy process, bikes were super comfy and easy to use. Three gear levels and a bell, plus a lock system. And a basket. It was all we needed. Only comment would be the seat was a tad low for my 6 ft husband. Perfect for me though at 5 ft. Great idea for us travelers! Thank you!!

Can’t get up front pricing. Not renting anything without any idea what the charges may be.
Our first experience renting a bike
Started off a little rough but we got it figured out. Looking forward to my next adventure. Thank you for having the bike rentals available for us.
Charged me a fee without using the bike!!
The app wouldn’t let me check out a bike, even though the bike was right there and was clearly not being used. It charged me a $10 fee even though I didn’t even use the bike!!

Hard to find bikes
I paid for the $50 membership, and only rode once. One time the bikes were stolen from Elgin. Hard to find bike locations and takes forever to get a response
