Im download this app to try and learn lines yet when when I do it a fair few amount of times it just says I have to pay shouldn’t have to paymaster truv

Thank you for your feedback. Run Lines With Me is free to download and try; you can make up to 10 recordings without paying anything. Since each recording can be up to 15 minutes long, those 10 free recordings are usually enough to rehearse and memorize an entire show or project's worth of scenes. After those recordings, you've had a chance to see if Run Lines With Me is a valuable tool for you, and we ask that you pay to continue using it. This is a great app for running lines. The only problem I have is that there’s no way to edit a recording or go back if you make a mistake. If you’re recording the lines and you flub up you have to start all over again.Grendel8ss

Easy, easy, easy! I had been looking for a way to run my lines without bothering anyone. I got tired of forcing people to help me. Resentment was starting to build. This app is sooooooo simple, and yet so very well designed. Before I discovered Run Lines With Me, I recorded my lines on just a generic recording app that was not designed for running lines. Very frustrating trying to leave gaps of the appropriate length to be able to say my lines. This app has thought of everything. Thanks so much for a fabulous app!Show lessnoname nona

The UI is so intuitive and easy! This does exactly what I need it to and I love the folders instead of having to organize by scenes. I think the one thing I’d love to see added is having one version at normal speed where it doesn’t say your lines back to you after the break. Just so I know I can through it that way before doing double time.

Your request, an option for "normal speed, with gaps, but no repeating", is becoming a much-asked-for feature (I've just added your vote). It's likely to appear in some form in a future update. I like this app— I really do. It’s helpful. Today was the first day I used it. I recorded my first recording. It saved the entire thing. Then, I recorded something else.
The second thing was close to 15 minutes, but a little under. When viewing it, it said it was the full time. When you clicked on it though, it had only saved 2 minutes of the full 14:45 that I had recorded.
Okay, I thought. I paused it for a while before continuing. It must be that. I exited the app, closed it, and re-entered. I recorded the entire thing again, this time totaling to 15 minutes. This time, it only saved 16 seconds. I haven’t tried to do it again. I’m not wasting another 15 minutes of my time recording something that isn’t going to save.
This app was really helpful with the first recording. It’s amazing, in fact. But unless this bug gets fixed, I’m going to have to give it 1 star and not use it. Really? 16 seconds out of the 15 minutes I recorded? Please fix this bug so I can use this app again!

I'm very sorry you're running into this frustration. Feeling like you've wasted time is never good. Thank you for letting us know. I'd definitely like to track down the problem you're running into. What happened when the app only saved 2 minutes or 16 seconds? Did the playback screen only show recordings of that length? Or did it show the full 15 minutes, but only playback 2 minutes (or 16 seconds)? Did it playback silence for the rest? You can contact me at "email@runlineswithme.com". I'd certainly like to address this issue. In the meantime, you might try breaking recordings into shorter pieces, say 7-8 minutes each, or even 3-5 minutes. This gives you the chance to repeatedly rehearse shorter beats, and then still string them together when you're ready to do so.
