  • It annoyed me that..

    I couldn’t have an actual 10 recordings! After I messed up and deleted it I thought they didn’t count it but after having only six recordings and I tried to make a new one it asked me to subscribe. I was confused because when it said you have two more recordings left, I messed up and then deleted it and when I tried to make a new one after that, it still said you have two more recordings left so I assumed that when you make a mistake and delete it. It is OK! I didn’t really get it, but it was OK.

    Hello, and thank you for leaving your review. I'm sorry the free recording limit surprised or confused you. It's true that even deleted recordings count against the limit; if they didn't, it would be easy to delete old recordings and make new ones forever without supporting the app's development. However, the app should have warned you that you were down to 2 more free recordings, then 1 more, before you ran out completely. (Unless you made two at once using the "split" control button.)   • Where’s he log in? I paid now you won’t let me use a different device?

    This is complete silliness. I like the app, but I’m pai once and do not intend to pay again. My IPhone is about out of battery … I need to rehearse lines on my IPad but tried to log in and am only given options for a subscription. Sorry, Charlie. You’re not getting more out of this turnip.

    PS I was able to figure out how to transfer the subscription to another device. Thank you for the quick response. I still think it should be made clearer, but this app is very, very good.

    Thank you for your review. If you’ve subscribed on your phone, that subscription will carry over to your iPad; you don’t need to pay again, as long as you’re logged in to the same iCloud account. (Look for the “Restore” button at the bottom of the subscription screen. ) Currently, your recordings will not sync over to a second device. That is a feature on the roadmap for a future update.   • Best way to memorise lines for most actors

    An excellent app that has been improved over the last couple of years to remove the most critical bugs

    I would love to see a summarising feature whereby we could listen to a summary version that plays the immediate 5-10 seconds before our line and then skips to the following “Q” line.

    I had to learn 4 scripts in 3 weeks for some high school assignments (and a couple of QPAC plays 😉) and I was like full on freaking out but my drama teacher can’t recommend this app enough and now neither can I! Thank you for making an app like this <3 xoxoxox

    My first attempt at theatre…how many times can you ask family to run lines… this app was simple to set up and absolutely helpful!

    I struggle to memorize in general, and I’m in a play coming up. Thank you for making an easy way to memorize lines it’s helping already.
  • Great for Actors (one major bug)

    I love using this app to get off book- it’s incredibly easy to use and very straightforward. However, there is one major bug. Whenever I try to delete an old recording, the app crashes, and recording is still there when I re open the app. I really hope this issue gets fixed soon, it’s the only thing keeping me from giving the app 5 stars!

Is this crash happening when you delete any recording, or is it repeatedly happening with just one particular recording? And is that recording the last remaining recording, or do you still have others? I look forward to tracking down this problem; in the meantime, I hope you can continue to use the app to memorize your lines even with this extra recording sitting there. Break a leg!
  • Great app when it works properly…

    Been using it for a while, in the beginning it was amazing. But at some point, all the recording became very quiet (like whisper volume) even when I have the volume all the way up. I am quite sure it’s not my phone as every other app works normally. I even paid for the subscription… please fix it!!! It’s barely usable right now.

My suggestion: go to Settings (tap the mask icon a the bottom of main screen, then tap "Settings") and check that the top setting there, "Adjust Volume", is set to "Off".
