You are not the only one to request this setting, so "playback at normal speed with gaps but without repeating your lines" is on the list to be added in a future update. ("Playback at normal speed with gaps and repeating your lines" is already included as the second setting.) Happy to hear more feedback or answer any questions. Just recorded 45 minutes of my script on my IPad and can’t access the recordings on my IPhone, which I was planting on listening to while driving, or basically anywhere but home. Very upset about this an hope developers will fix this ASAP. I just subscribed.VioletPEZ
The free subscription is not free
It says you get up to ten recordings to use as often as you like. What they don’t say is if there are technical glitches likes you can’t hear what you recorded no matter how you adjust it and delete to re-record, you LOSE the free subscription of 10 and it goes to 9 then 8 each time you delete a recording that doesn’t work. Very frustrating. After you use up the ten non working slots it refuses to go until you pay. How can i pay for something that doesn’t even work in free mode?! It appears to record but doesn’t play back! Checked my volume for sound it’s fine. It just doesn’t play back this. It asked me to access my microphone and i clicked accept. This is so frustrating and I am not confident to buy in when it doesn’t work, sorry! Contact is by email and twitter. Wrote to twitter account. Not holding my breath.Show lessdmressy

Good news: version 1.7 is now available as an update in the App Store and it fixes the bug where recordings would not play back. Download the update and give it a try. And why is the run limes with gap pnly available in fast forward! It defeats the purpose of being able to run the lines on your own pace when you dont have a reader! Its so lameTanviahuja

UPDATE: Run Lines With Me has a new update (v1.6) that should address a couple of the most common bugs. Give it a try and see if your problems have been addressed. If not, reach out at the email address below. If so, please consider updating your rating/review. Also, I believe I understand the playback feature you're asking for: playback with gaps at normal speed but without repeating your lines after the gaps. Makes sense. That request has been added to the list for consideration in a future update. Thank you! -- -- -- -- -- Thank you for your feedback. "Run lines with gap" is definitely available at regular speed (and recommended for early rehearsing, for sure). On the playback screen, look for the curved line above the play/pause button. You can move the circle to one of four settings: "Play straight through", "Leave a gap, then play your line", "Faster, with gaps and repeating", and "Speed-through with gaps". It sounds like you're on the third or fourth setting, try the second one for regular speed. I'd love to hear about some of the other bugs you've found; I'm always looking to make fixes to problems so the app is even better for current and future users. In my honest opinion it works good but it only limits you because I want to record more but it’s limited. I rather remember a whole scene then parts of itJayro.M
