Thank you for your feedback. Our hope is that 10 recordings is enough for an actor to try out the app, use the memorization features, and decide if they find it helpful enough to subscribe. 10 recordings is often enough for an actor to memorize an entire project (20-30 minutes of dialogue using recommended lengths, or up to 2.5 hours of dialogue maximum.) I don’t usually write reviews for apps, but I just felt I needed to express how much I love this one. I’ve been doing theatre for 12 years and honestly this app is a game changer for learning lines. What makes it so great is that it’s like having someone to learn your lines with except you can do it all on your own. I really love how simple and easy it is to use. It's great! I can practice my lines and decipher them between my own and others while practicing! It's an excellent tool to use! ... Only problem is that I only get about 5 recordings, then boom! I have to pay. An idea for this is that for each recording that you use, you have to watch an ad if you don't want to pay. It really bugs me because I'm a kid with a big part and now I can't use the app and I think i'm going to delete it.Show lessRepublic of Alchembrew

I have used this app a multitude of times for a number of different projects and it has genuinely helped me learn my lines. I am a person who learns by saying my lines out loud and it can be difficult for me to learn lines when I don’t have someone to practice with. There have been a couple of times when I have been able to rehearse my lines while walking or eating my lunch, and the app is honestly just incredibly convenient and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.Show lessSophia_Fendrick

I was panicked trying to memorize lines as Oscar in the Odd Couple when I downloaded Run Lines. On my way to rehearsal I listened to a scene with the pause and like repeat mode enabled and was able to be off book when we went through it. It was time consuming to record the lines but that was beneficial in its own way. I cannot recommend this app enough for busy actors who need to find little pockets of time to go through their dialogue. Worth every penny for more recording storage.Show lessDooner17

I have used other line apps that relied on other people to enter their lines as well and that was always a bit problematic. The simplicity of this app is it it’s all you. It was perfect for me as I was riding my bike a lot and I would learn my lines at the same time. There were some glitches, particularly with FB messenger while the program was open, but overall it worked well. We open in a couple weeks and I know all my lines thanks to this app.Show lessPortera63

I rely on these recordings sooo much when preparing for any role! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that you can’t pause a recording, do something else and come back to continue recording the same section. I have to re-record if I need to get a call.HaitianLatina

Thank you for leaving your review. I'm glad to hear you find Run Lines With Me helpful. I appreciate your feedback. There is a "pause" button that lets you pause a recording, leave the app and do something else on your device, then come back and resume your recording right where you left off (using the "record" button again). That works, but is not as clear as it could be. It doesn't quite work that way if you are in the middle of a recording and are interrupted by an incoming phone call. In that case, when you are done with the phone call, the app will give you the opportunity to save the recording you were working on (so you don't lose work), but you aren't currently able to continue that recording from the point of interruption. We'll keep an eye on these areas for possible improvement in future updates. Thanks again for your review, and break a leg!In-scene repeat function?

I’m loving your app but I wonder if you could add an ‘in-scene’ repeat function so that you can go over and over a part of a scene, rather than repeat the whole thing once you’re at the end? It would be most helpful and would save constantly hitting the ‘10 secs back’ button!

Thank you for you review, and for your feedback. I do toy with ideas around playback controls, and something like what you describe could certainly find its way into a future update. Meanwhile, my suggestion would be to make each of your recordings just 2-4 minutes long, breaking each scene into however many recording it takes. This way it’s easy to work on small sections on repeat, and then when you’re ready, set the app to go straight to the next recording in the list to run the entire scene. (Folders can also be helpful in organizing this way.) Thank you. Break a leg!
