This is great for memorizing any dialogue between partners in a theatrical narrative scene or audition . It’s the perfect tool for repetition, memorization, and speedy delivery. It forces you to learn your dialogue and pace yourself up. Now you need to learn how to take notes on your own.

I was cast as the lead (the Inspector) in a Murder Mystery. Tons of lines! This app was wonderful find!
Not only did I use it to rehearse, but I use it in double speed to line bash right before each act during each performance!
All the functionality I needed was completely free, but I was so thankful for this app, I subscribed for a year anyway: only $5! Best value ever! Alternative apps charge soooooo much more.

Run lines is the Actors friend
I have never stage acted before and I normally have a problem memorizing lines. After using runtime for 1week I am now completely confident in my lines and ready to Debut at my first show.SGtrinity
Best way to learn lines!
This is a really fantastic app! It makes learning lines almost effortless, and I can do it while cleaning or jogging or whatever.
The only issue I have is that you have to make your recordings in one take. If you make one mistake, you have to trash that take and start over. If there was a way to go back when recording, and a way to edit recordings, this app would be perfection.Show lessSky Gem Carson

Thanks for your review. "... while cleaning or jogging or whatever" is exactly the goal. It's true that sometimes having to restart a recording from the top isn't ideal (though this can be somewhat helped by keeping each recording just a few minutes long) Some kind of trim or edit function isn't in the works right now, but it might be a possibility in a future update. Love this app. Makes learning a script that much more easy and I can run lines while doing other things. Just wish it could sync across devices. Would love to access the lines I record on my phone on my iPad.@luzlopezactor
