Loved the app but…
I really enjoyed using this app and making a new recordings for every scene, but when it told me I couldn’t make anymore, I was really ticked off. I get that y’all need a way to make money, but there are different ways to do that than just making people pay. I think I can speak for many fellow actors when I say that many can’t afford that. Especially younger actors. Correct me if I’m wrong, but can’t you just add a few advertisements here and there? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!Show lessSmellyLittleRat

I have considered adding advertising to the app; the biggest reasons I've so far chosen not to are a personal user experience preference and concern about privacy and data tracking. I've tried to keep the subscription pricing at a very accessible level, but I understand it may not be for everyone. I'm sorry you were frustrated when you hit the free recording limit. I'd like for everyone to get a chance to really try Run Lines With Me enough to make a decision about whether it's worth subscribing or not. In many cases, the ten free recordings are enough to memorize and rehearse an entire show. I like that it allows you to record your lines with the lines of your cast mates. You can do a prompt, or partial prompt for your lines, but there is no option to read your lines in the space between the other cast members. Need a feature that allows you to not be prompted but can state your lines and the program just mutes your lines to let you say them without a prompt. If you forget you should be able to then click a read line.Show lessgfushianes

I've been telling all of my actor friends about this app. It truly changes everything. I'm so glad I found it! I'm always off book first now!@misterhyjinx
Good app but buggy
I’ve only been using this app for the past day, and while I like it, I hate the glitches. When running through a scene on repeat, it occasionally changes to reading both roles for a couple of lines before going back to reading only the partner dialogue. The same lines may be handled differently on consecutive repeating runs.

This app is great. I find it really useful for running lines and the subscription is well worth it. Really easy to use, you just hold the button down when it's your line and say all the other lines and stage directions with no time-consuming button pressing and line allocation required.
Two criticisms:
Sound quality is a bit poor. Needs to be of the same quality as Cold Read or Line Learner.

Dutifully recorded everything and now the playback doesn’t do as promised. Have to hit play at every line instead of having it play straight through. Just terrible.matmerle
So Very Useful
I do community theater, and this has helped me to get off book for a show before our first rehearsal for one show. I am working hard to be off book for a second show as we approach our second week of rehearsals ( more lines, this time). This is amazing for actors! Run Lines With Me is very helpful and has helped me memorize lines for a lot of my shows. I would highly recommend this for anything that your memorizing and the small yearly cost is definitely worth it!SkyTheActress✨
