Information is not accurate, often outdated
But a combination of poor app and website navigability and outdated information makes this very difficult to ascertain the offerings for a specific procedure.
For example, if I want to schedule an MRI for the minimum copay, I can bring up a map of locations and the associated price. However, some locations returned are inaccurate, i.e. there is no provider there or it is the corporate location of the provider. This is a fundamental flaw given that location is tied directly to price of procedure for Surest.
Given that location is tied directly to price, if the provider is a network of locations and has availability at another location, the price may be different which is frustrating. Not sure if surest can unify prices across a network since it is probably part of their negotiation but at least they can show all associated locations in a network so you can get a readout on price by location.

Thanks for your feedback on the Surest app. We strive to display useful and actionable information about providers and the care they provide. Especially changes like locations closing. We changed the way we do this in the second half of 2023 and are seeing positive results. We've also made it easier to use more than one location by smoothing prices across provider locations for certain services. Displaying locations by system is not currently available but is a feature we are exploring. Starting in December 2023, you can search by location by name. We appreciate the feedback, and we're sorry you weren't able to use your password, with parentheses, to login to the Surest app. We identified a bug with special characters not being allowed in the password field. Dishonest about claim processing
Typical experience with UHC: deny claims and send you down an endless rabbit hole to nowhere until you pay for a claim that they advertise as covered with no patient responsibility. Shocker.

Thank you for your feedback. The Surest app does show in-network providers. Once you select a provider, you can see their scheduling information, when the provider has shared it with us. Directly scheduling within the app is not currently available but is a feature we are exploring. We are also actively working on improving the accuracy of provider data.
