  • Constant crashes and more

    This is my first week using this ELD. It is crashed more times than I can count. When it crashes it puts my co-driver on duty and puts them in violation. I was told that I could use multiple devices that way if I’m not near the truck and need to change duty status I can do so. However it does not function as expected. I now wish I had went with samsara. it had better functionality and did not crash or put my co-driver on drive time putting them in violation. This is not user error this is a problem with your programming and needs to be Remedied ASAP!
    Update: I’m not sure what you educated idiots are doing, but your eld is not allowing me to split. I took a 7.75 hour sleeper break today and it worked as expected. I then stopped 2 hours later for 15 minutes and when I left the unit eld remove my actual hour away and only gave me 15 minutes remaining. I am now stopped for my 3 hour break and the unit show I have zero hours remaining and is essentially forcing me to take a 10 hour break to be be in compliance! It’s no wonder you have us sign a 3 year contract, otherwise With as useless as this unit is you wouldn’t have any customers. I’m so tempted to terminate the contract.

  • Worst eld ever

    All the reviews are at least a year old, so you would think in a year that VerizonWould have fixed some things. However, I am facing the same issues that I see people have been facing for a year for three years four years ago. I hate this app with a passion. However, it’s what my boss says we have to use but I stay in violation and it makes no sense. It says if I drive now I’m gonna be in a 70 hour violation. I haven’t even worked 34 hours this week if that that. I have never been more upset and confused and almost to the point where I just want to not even drive a truck anymore if I have to keep dealing with this.I’m telling you this is the absolute worst ELD ever. Stop taking businesses money shut this down.

  • ELD Issue and use

    Eld app shouldn’t not have to select cycle reset and daily reset it shouldn’t be like that at all!! If your off duty for 10 hrs that is automatically daily reset and if your off duty for 34hrs cycle rest so why do I have to select both to do one or the other!! And I should be able to edit my logs easily on time etc and I should be able to fix a violations by log edit . Honestly I don’t care for this app at all but it should be simple. Motive eld is simple elog to use . And I shouldn’t have to add notation for each duty I select ! So on motive I can select on duty then select pre trip inspection and done on my duty status I can add note but the status should be on duty off duty sleeper berth personal conveyance use Driving. So make the edits to the eld and add another update if it was up to me I wouldn’t use this app at all !!! But my company use this app so make it simpler to use no more extra steps to do things

  • Not user friendly

    I used keep trucking for 6 years & came to a company with Verizon ELD. It’s not user friendly at all, antiquated technology and slow. It reminds me of the difference between broadband and dial up. Hard to interpret the clocks reset & a lot of unknown requirements that should be obvious but you need to hunt. Take notes from “Motive” I beg you Verizon you are better then this. Do better there’s not even any way to take a photo of bills or receipts. What a drag. Also, users if it’s messing up uninstall and reinstall. Updates are that antiquated.

  • Terrible

    Zero stars. Doesn’t register 34hr resets half the time, even after logging out and back in again, manually updating, etc.. Will automatically log you out while driving, not register the drive time. When you try to put it in manually after this happens, it’ll show error/violation codes for weeks. This shouldn’t be legal PERIOD.

  • Don’t do it

    I like most people believed in Verizon. As it turns out, this is not part of Verizon. I have had this ELD for approximately six months and it has only worked for the first two. Verizon connect will refuse to assist you, only assistance you will get is from a customer service rep that will tell you someone will get back to you in 24 to 48 hours. i’ve been battling with them for three months for any kind of assistance. They simply ignore you. Don’t do it!! go to a company that has better customer service. Like everyone else that has left reviews. I have been on duty for 20 hours straight. This was pointed out to me by Texas state trooper when I was pulled over for roadside inspection. When I point this out to a customer service rep, they simply ignore you.

  • Garbage

    This app is trash. Consistently gives me warnings and violations that I’ve been driving for 8hrs when I’ve only driven 3 hrs. It will show uncertified random days on my admins computer but on my screen it shows certified. The developers of this app obviously have zero clue what they are doing and I can’t believe they are still employed.

  • Dreading a roadside inspection.

    I keep getting unassigned driving, showing up a day or so after the event that didn’t happen.
    My daily inspections disappear and reappear.
    Occasionally it will show an 8 hour driving violation even though I have taken a half hour on a different line.
    It will un certify my logs days later.

  • Never had a problem

    Been using it for about 5 months on a 2012 Volvo and zero issues also have the forward facing camera very good and reliable I think most other reviews are simple user error.
