  • It’s fine

Doesn’t sync directly to Apple Watch. Apple health on phone? Yes. I like that the meals can be chosen by budget and ease of cooking. The form on some workouts is not proper. The workouts are not in full video format, rather clips of the maneuver being demonstrated. Had a timer that beeps. Fasting notification. Charges a monthly fee for premium to scan in your food. Counts macros but I’m not sure how accurate. So far, I’m using the free version and it’s fine.
  • Amazing, and Not Just for Weight Loss

I’m pretty sure I have never left a review for an app in my life. But I have to let people know how amazing these recipes are. My husband and I have been bored and out of ideas for us and our four kids. There are so many delicious and easy recipes on this app. I put a difficulty of cooking level three and it is perfectly homemade, with whole foods, but absolutely delicious and simple and quick. Even if I wasn’t trying to lose weight, I would love this app for the recipes alone. I also cannot believe the meal plans that it generates. I put a calorie limit of 1200 and a protein goal of 130 g. Not only did it manage to give me meal plans within those parameters, but I can’t even eat all of the food. It’s whole food filling and delicious. I highly recommend this app.
  • If you’re having trouble losing weight, this is the app for you

I don’t ever review apps. I’ve been using this for about a year now though. I was on the low end of the obese scale. I tried everything, and I mean EVERYTHING to lose weight. I’d fluctuate by 10lbs monthly. I saw doctors and dieticians and it never made a difference with my weight loss. So I finally got this app, and a lifting app. I have lost about 40lbs now.

This app is very easy to use, and the meals can either be simple or if you like to cook, more complex. It’s super easy to save meals you like and ignore ones you don’t, so you don’t get them again. It makes a nice grocery list for you. It even gives you a workout plan if you don’t have another one to use. You can add your own recipes too.

I really didn’t think I needed as much protein as this app gives me since I’m mostly sedentary. I do not workout super often, and my lifting is limited due to injuries. My working out consists of walking and light lifting with my other app. Apparently all I needed was to up my protein game to lose weight, and this app makes it so easy to do so. If you have trouble losing weight, give this app a shot. I’m beyond happy with my progress so far.
  • Amazing but needs more

This app helped me get comfortable at the gym and taught me how to use various free weights. I do wish it gave me more variety in cardio workouts with the free version, as I typically find myself skipping it on the app and doing my own thing. Overall, this app is amazing though, and I can give it credit for getting me into the rhythm of a good workout. I hope they add Apple Watch support eventually. It would be amazing if I could go through my guided workouts right on my wrist, as well as incorporate my health data into my workout data. I think this app would become much more popular as it already has a leg up on other apps having both a workout and meal planner.
  • AMAZING

I just started my fitness journey and really had no clue what I was doing. Especially with food. I would use chatgpt to try and plan my meals and it worked and tasted good but took a lot of effort to verify it had the right macros.
Then I was looking for AI meal planning/workout apps and randomly found this app!
In 1 month I've lost a bunch of fat and even put on 3 lbs of muscle. I'm excited to keep at it!
  • Best app to date

My top three favorite features are the macro tracking, the budgeting feature, and my personal favorite- adding your own recipes. I’ve tried I think every app on the market and this one is the best one I’ve used. It’s a very easy app to use and the most customizable. I think an extra cool bonus feature down the road would be if it was a possibility to select certain nutrients you wanted to prioritize in your diet and you could keep track of that nutrition aspect. Just looking at things from a functional medicine perspective where like someone with celiacs might be more deficient in b vitamins whereas someone with thyroid issues might be looking to prioritize copper more.. ect… I know the app can’t diagnose treat or prescribe. But like if you are someone who’s already done functional medicine stuff to be able to prioritize those nutrients.
  • Takes the hard work out of dieting

This app does most of the work out of coming up with a weekly dietary plan based on your goals. The goals could be caloric, protein, carbs or fat or combinations thereof. It will let let you print out a grocery list too. Has many recipes which are usually quite tasty.

    Highly recommended.
  • Good app, could be amazing

So far I like the app because it’s better than other apps that do the same thing. That’s not really saying much though. I was looking for an app that pre-plans my weekly meals based on macros, and this app does that. Some of the ways it gets there are strange (Edamame (and nothing else) for breakfast, anyone?)- it seems to only consider the numbers instead of what foods it puts together.

I will say, this app’s strange food/meal combos is still light years better than other apps (Eatthismuch apparently has recipes by people with no taste buds, for example).

The thing that’s driving me ABSOLUTELY nuts is that the workout videos stop my music for each rep. I have to manually go back to my music app to restart it EVERY. TIME. I. LOG. A. REP. This really needs to be fixed. I don’t need to hear weight lifting demo videos!

I’m giving it three stars for now. If meals make better sense and the music issue gets fixed, I’ll bump this this to five stars.
  • Beautiful app

The App Store is so saturated with apps that do half of what this app does for double the price that I was initially skeptical when I first downloaded it, but the premium meal planning functionality is amazing and totally worth the upgrade. It lets me mix meal planning and normal tracking when I want to, so it’s super flexible in that way. I plan out some meals and track others manually which I’ve found is a great balance for me personally. They have a recipe database full of tons of tasty high protein meals ideas. Still using it over a year later.
  • Needs a few basics…

This is more like. 3.5 star, but that’s not an option. When doing your workout plan, you should be able to see how many reps you did last time of any given exercise. It would make it easier to push.

The app tends to stop whatever you are listening to (Apple Music, Audible, etc.) when working out. This is a big deal. Almost everyone listens to something while working out.

You should be able to more easily edit workout plans. For example: The closest thing to what I need is the six day plan. But it does a three day split (push, pull, legs; repeat). I, however, only need one leg day per week.

It also needs to sync with Apple Health/Fitness.

Other than those things, it’s an amazingly comprehensive app.
