  • Bad Recipes, Bizarre Portions, Broken Search

    I got this primarily for the meal planner, and while the concept is solid the execution is terrible.

    In order to meet macros, the app will create absolutely bizarre portion sizes and meal combinations. If you go to look for a replacement item because you don’t want .5 portions of tuna pickle boats and 3 cups of milk for breakfast, the replacement search often won’t bring up what you’re looking for at all, regardless of how you tweak the settings. I’ve literally had to backtrack to old meals just to find a banana.

    The recipes don’t appear to have been tested either. Nothing is great. Some are okay. Some of them are truly awful.
  • What I’ve been looking for

    Awesome app with great potential, look forward to future updates to fix some bugs or simplify the features but super easy to plan a diet, grocery list, and work out plan. Super excited to use it and track my results.
  • Awesome App with a couple of drawbacks

    This app is great. It really is just like having a personal trainer. You can figure out your macros and calories from your goals. It gives you meal plans. It will give you a workout plan. It reminds you to workout. It gives you a grocery list for your meals. The meal options are pretty good. I have tried one thing I didn’t like and that was more a personal preference thing. I thought I would give it a try and see if I could learn to like it (I couldn’t, it was disgusting to me). It lets you have an option for a “cheat” day or meal. You can pick the days you want to workout. When you go to do strength training for exercises you haven’t done before in the app, it guides you through a strength test. It has warm ups and cool downs. This app is pretty complete. The only cons are the user interface and the ease of use. I wouldn’t say this app is completely intuitive. It takes a bit of searching around to figure certain things out. The user interface is just okay. It isn’t show stopping, not that I necessarily expect that from a fitness app. When I didn’t understand how to really use this app it kind of frustrated me. Now that I have all the basics of it down, I really love it and recommend it to all of my friends.
  • Good program

    I really like the program and the variety of foods. I’d say if they could give you the option to fix errors in the food information and to edit incorrect/different information in the recipes, it would be 5 star. As it is it’s not the most accurate it could be because it doesn’t give you those options.
  • Great idea. Needs work.

    I love the concept, but it seems no matter what macros I calculate, it gives me a Keto diet low on carbs. Low carb diets are not optimal for bodybuilding. Also Keto diets can cause kidney stone, increase heart disease risks and a host of other things. They should really work on making the macros you set for the diet, which in my case was 40 carb, 40 protein and 20 fat. Instead it comes out 50 percent less in carbs than I wanted. Frustrating.
  • Decent, could be improved

    I really like the meal plan and workout plan all rolled into one. I also really like the quick video reference for most of the workouts. However, I wish this app was smarter at swapping workouts. For instance, if my workout plan has machine hamstring curls but all I have at home are some dumbbells, I need to swap it out, so I wish the app would suggest a similar style workout (hamstring) that I could do with my dumbbells. Right now it seems to be very rudimentary, it will just show me a long list of leg exercises that work any part of the leg using any method. I just wish there was an option to limit the list to muscle group and workout situation e.g. working out at home with dumbbells vs at a gym with machines. It’s a decent start but this app needs work.
  • I took this App for granted

    So I paid for this app because it the best out. I have t been able to find anything better. Truly customizable Meal plan and training. The only thing I would change is the workout timer and smoother transition to max exercises. Love it worth it.

    I use this app every day for meal planning and workouts. It's excellent! The meals are straightforward and easy to make and the workouts are killer.

    It makes everything super easy and streamlined.
  • Amazing Customer Responsiveness

    I’ve never written an app review before, but this merited one. In general, the app is great, I use it to track all my macros etc etc; you can tell it’s definitely rough around the edges with regards to UX in a few places, but nothing too awful.

    One day, I decided to shoot over some feedback on some places where I could see improvements in the app to make it more user friendly. Not only did I get a warm thank you from the team, some of the changes were implemented within 48 hours—talk about agile development.

    Super thankful for not only a super helpful app, but a great team that responds to its users.
  • Love the app

    I love this app! It is great!
    Its a ltl complicated to figure out how to make ur own recipes and there is a quirk, when u make ur recipe, it will auto adjust the quantity to fit ur macros, but it makes it very confusing.
    Also, it doesnt show ur macro breakdown for the day, i wish that would change.
    I wish u could add ur own amt of calories burnt for the day, but overall it is a great app and ive already lost weight after just about a week and a half, which says a lot because i never lose weight, ever.
    Highly recommended.
