Good Company, bad App
This app doesn’t provide me with anything I can’t get from going straight to the website or doing a basic google search. The only things available in the app are a store locator, service guide, and coupons. I was excited to download the app hoping I would be able to link it to previous service records or at minimum being able to save service records going forward. I was hoping it would add to the overall customer experience but with its limited offerings I don’t want to waste the space on my phone.Show lessTawniStark
App Is Useless
I usually use Jiffy Lube but decided to try Valvoline. I loaded the app and it doesn’t appear that I can make a reservation. So, like Jiffy Lube, it’s first come first serve. However the nice thing is that I can see the estimated wait time before going. I see that every Valvoline dealer in the area is showing 0-10 mins. I decide to head that way which is only 10 minutes away. There is a massive line that would easily surpass one hour and maybe float into two hours. I begin to wonder how the time blew up from 0-10 mins all the way to 1+hrs within a ten minute window. I reload the app. Still shows 0-10 mins. I refresh and reload. Still shows 0-10 mins. I decide to abandon the idea of an oil change for now and the app still shows 0-10 mins for all locations.
My guess is it either 1) never changes and simply reads 0-10 mins all the time or 2) it is manually updated at the dealer level (vs automated algorithm and AI) and so it is dependent upon the dealer to count cars in line. Either way, that’s a joke.Show lessStockbrokerUSA
Beware of giving information
I try my best to keep my information secure. However, upon registering for this app — I have been met with a hoard of spam/scam emails. This is the only app I registered my email address for in the last couple of weeks. So if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a probably a duck. I would encourage users to use throwaway email addresses when registering for this app. One additional star as the app itself is not bad. Minus three stars for blatantly selling my information to unverified third party services.Show lessJbrogers5

Service team works well together. I told them I wanted to come snide bc I needed to pull up Groupon and didn’t want to slow them down. They said pull in the garage and the. Get your Groupon. I insisted no work until we agreed on the price with coupon. And that’s what we did. It was 15 minutes tops. Friendly, respectful, excellent time work for this crew. B
I came in with 2 cars today. excellent service both times. My dealership offered me an appt in 2 weeks. Valvoline did the job in 15 minutes

Lifetime customer
Everything about Valvoline is top-notch. About five years ago, I always went to Walmart for price savings. I was in a rush with three kids, and I loved the idea I did not have to get out of the car. I was concerned about the price, but the manager said he would price-match Walmart. That day I got my oil changed in under ten minutes. I brought my second vehicle back up by switching the kids over. I had both cars done within 30 minutes. I lived two minutes away! I was so impressed with the customer service and how easy and efficient it was I have never gone back to Walmart. Simple & kind
The app interface is easy and user friendly - haven’t had an issue in regular use in over a year.
Company wise, one of the best around. Even for “big box”
Service techs at every location I’ve been at (which is a lot. I average 35-40k miles a year) have always been knowledgeable, kind, and quick. Prices are as they should be, no up charging techniques by techs and all my questions are answered about the current service and if / what I need to prepare for the next.
As a busy mom, a student … again, and running two businesses - thankful for this place and convenience it affords me of one little thing I know is already “taken care of” even when it’s not 😂
But really - app serves its purpose and works well!
Only thing I’d request from developers (since I’m a geek) is a way to see my own service history within the app at my finger tips and maybe a service list / educational infographics of maintenance schedulesShow lessDJ river!

I love going to Valvoline and getting my oil change in 15 minutes. I have been going to Valvoline and getting services from them every since 2017 when I purchased my car and haven’t had any car problems nor Customer Service problems either. Unreliable Service at Stores
Unfortunately the app doesn’t help save time or improve service. This is the second time I have used it, sitting on hold, while can’t even talk with store location placed back on hold for them to tell me they can’t do inspection either. Cross train your employees so if someone don’t show up someone else can step up. Service your machinery or have back ups so that the service you say you provide can be provided.Show lessjogas3
