My Dr called in prescriptions after a televisit at 5pm. I got the notification that 1 script was filled, but not the other. I looked at pharmacy hours-it stated closing at 9 pm. I had a severe allergic reaction to poison ivy. At 7:42 I called to see if the steroid cream was unavailable or what the issue was. The tech stated, “it’s in my queue, I’m getting ready to fill it.” I said good, I’ll head that way, you close at 9, right? She said, “no, we close at 8.” I said the app states 9. She said, “oh it hasn’t been updated, can you get here by 8?” No, I could not as I live a ways out.
So, I suffered another sleepless night with intense pain and itching.
Most stores stress that people use their apps. Therefore, when they randomly change their hours, they should IMMEDIATELY update the app that they encourage their customers to rely on! I left Walgreen’s Pharmacy for this same reason!
