  • Good Idea, but bad execution

Terrible software. How do they even come up with a debt plan if there software doesn't generate accurate balances and interest rates or sorting.
  • Won’t work!

I have tried EVERYTHING to delete this app because I no longer want to use it and I’ve emailed several times trying to delete and cancel my account but no response and it’s been weeks of constant emails but no response whatsoever! Why can I not get a response from anyone directly?? Very annoyed about this and I’d like the money yall have taken refunded back to me because I don’t see any indication (and I’ve checked all accounts it’s supposed to pay down) that these funds have been used to pay down my accounts. So where are my funds going??

  • App is awful

Took me about 5 tries to link my accounts because the “continue” buttons grey out any time you leave the app (ie like to look for a password in your iPhone notes). Extremely annoying. After finally linking my accounts, I was greeted with the option of either a $60 subscription or a $200 subscription. LOL! Went to go delete my account I literally just made and the instructions are to “click the chat icon on the bottom right to enter a ticket”. There is no chat icon on the bottom right. An infuriating and frustrating 15 minutes I’ll never get back.

  • They won’t delete my account

I’m really worried because they basically have no support team and I can’t get them to delete my account or my info. I’ve reached out several times and no one responds but they keep messaging about money that’s been rounded up.
Unfortunately, this is just an idea. Save yourself the lifetime commitment to it, create an excel sheet and calculate your own roundup.

  • Is this still in testing phase 1?

Has potential but a lack of cs communication, inconsistency in $ amounts and overall just adds more tasks one has to manage in the overwhelming mound of loan repayment chaos.

Also, poor design…ex when writing to cs the “send” button is covered by the “click here for help icon” and you must find a work around to get your question sent in to cs.

  • Horrible Customer Service

The app is a good idea but the roundups feature didn't work and I could ever get a response on why. So I tried to get my account deleted and it's been over 2 months and I have not gotten a response from anyone. This is some of the worst customer service I have seen. Do not recommend this app to anyone, there are much better options.

  • Less than desirable customer service

I have been waiting on them to have their provider “update” the system so that I can use the change roundup feature.

Back near the end of last year my loan servicer changed from FedLoan to MOHELA. When I tapped “MOHELA” when I was setting up my account it kept saying FedLoan so I linked it anyway with the thought that it would update itself. It didn’t, so I launched a trouble ticket.

November 28, 2022 I got a message from “Bethanie” saying that there was a back end issue and they would have to reach out to their provider and have them fix it.

Since then I reached out Jan/Feb and was told the same thing.

It’s February 25th 2023 and it has not been fixed. No updates or anything.

    Horrible customer service.

  • Ruined my PSLF

I used chipper this summer to process my public student loan forgiveness application. They claimed this summer that they sent all of my documents to MOHELA. MOHELA says that chipper only send documents for one employee. Now it’s too late to amend the application. This is going to cost me over $60,000 in forgiveness. Worse yet. Chipper has taken down their pslf area so I can’t even review what we did this summer. The biggest problem is that you can never talk to a real person about any of this. Maybe I should Sue.
