Don’t Waste Your Money
Honestly, the most useless thing in my kitchen, never connects properly, new set of batteries every cook, wants your data even when not using - what for? To sell to other companies. Thankful for a trusty old meat thermometer with a cord.MK91979

Nothing works
I ordered four of the MeatStick X devices, two charging stands and the WiFi bridge. One of the sticks (green one) arrived defective—it would not charge. One of the charging stands would not do anything but show a green LED. The WiFi extender has a limit of 20 characters on the WiFi password so I had to set up another network for it. The first time I tried to use the product (red stick) the app told me the battery needed charging even though I had put
a full charge on it two days before and stored it in the product pouch. Nothing seems to work. I have requested a refund.Show lessex-MeatStick user
Great premise with middling execution
Core product works decently but even with the wifi extender can regularly lose connection which is somewhat expected but the recovery process is inane. Firmware update reminders occur every time the app is opened but nothing seems to happen when you tell it to update. Recovering from a lost connection can often involve pulling the thermometer out of the meat, which can severely disrupt most cooking.
I wanted to love this because of the price point. Think I got what I paid for though and will be trying a pricier competitor with better app reviews.Show lessFlabbyBellyGone
Seemingly Great Product Ruined by Privacy Demands
There is no excuse for requiring access to precise location services at all times to connect to a Bluetooth device. I understand you could turn it on and off each time, but the fact this company is stooping to this level is inexcusable.
I’ll be returning this product. I’m not into paying for spyware.

Thermometer is great Wi-Fi bridge is great. Customer service seems like one guy with a dial up Internet connection. Hard to reach and very slow fair enough maybe he is on holiday. If so I’m sorry, call me when you get back.Scurvy Goose
Terrible Product w/ NO RETURN POLICY
The MeatStick is hands down the most useless purchase I have made in years. The app is too complicated for itself. Won’t recognize two (2) sticks at once. Drops the connection. I have not used them in a piece of meat yet as we can’t get that far w/ out complications.
The MeatStick refused to take return despite the product not being used for a cook. It is brand new, but outside their 30-day return policy. These people are running a scam & stealing our hard earned money. I unfortunately didn’t read the reviews prior to purchase. Now that I read them, it is the same result as I am finding. Rarely connects and the x4 doesn’t show the 3 temps
I bought the X4 because it had three internal temperatures which I thought would be extremely awesome. In a review that I saw in a prior version of the software, it did show the three separate temperatures. But now they do not show it. when I contacted support, they said they don’t show it because they don’t want to confuse people. I don’t think people are that dumb one and two I don’t think that there’s any confusion when you know you have three internal temperatures. It’s silly.
Also, I can never get it to connect to my iPhone consistently. I will reboot my phone go through all of their troubleshooting steps and it just doesn’t connect overall it’s a piece of crap and I’m going to the meater.Show lessJoe Sespn
