Do not purchase if you want great quality

I couldn’t wait to finally purchase this front/back camera for my new car.

Unfortunately when I needed to evidentially use the camera, my footage wasn’t saved.
When I looked at previous footages, the quality is AWFUL! I’ve previous owned a NavMan, it was great for 4 years, unfortunately, this is product is something I’ll toss away.

The picture is blue, wabbles like crazy, cannot see the licence plates infront of you and the worst thing, THE APP DOESNT WORK.

I try to go into live view, gallery and nothing. I had to go to this app on the App Store to look at the reviews to see what to do. Turns out that I needed to turn off Bluetooth and turn off mobile data for it to work. Shouldn’t be that hard.

Navman, I am so disappointed with this product and application. It’s not a cheap product, so you would think you would be getting a good product for the price of what it is. Sad I’ll be going to another company as this one has let me down. Thank god I kept my receipt to get a refund.

Lousy service

Have been waiting a very long time for app update so I can use it. I can’t search a destination and send to device. Too hard doing it on the device. Had many replies from Navman saying update coming but then so is Xmas. Not happy

Not happy with the app or customer service

Have had Navman truck for a approximately 3yrs , and until around 12 months ago it never missed a beat, now in the last 12 months the app is not working, it will not search for a destination correctly, last time this happened I was told it was just me having the problem then finally they agreed it was not just me it was an app problem again , it has now been approximately 3 months and it is still not fixed, I phone up and get told we are still looking in to the problem, really Navman you sell a product and you are not providing a good enough service, fix this problem, looks like I might have to throw this out and actually get a gps that will actually work how it should, very poor customer service, not kept in the loop on progress or anything

Useless for reviewing footage

Files are returned randomly, no ability to sort by date, no logic to file name conventions so you can’t review footage because you can’t tell where it starts or stops by timestamp. Completely useless app, if you buy this overpriced Dashcam you’ll be needing an SD Card reader on your computer. I’ll never buy a Navman dash camera ever again. Great hardware absolute rubbish software.

Unable to search location

Every time, I try to search the location in the app. It just keeps loading when I type something. Nothing ever appears, which makes me unable to send the location to the device

Disappointing can’t connect with iso17 on an IPhone 12 via wifi

None of the reviews I read before buying the
Navman MiVue Alta DC Dash Cam mentioned connection issues with an IPhone 12 running iso 17. Not sure what to do. Thinking of returning the dash cam for a refund.

Navman MiVue

Have been a Navman user since 2008. New devices and platform are a terrible upgrade. Rely to much on phone data and navigation to plan routes. New hardware doesn’t maintain route after it powers off. Completely erodes the usefulness of the mileage recorder for tax purposes as it always loses the journey. Worst hardware and platform upgrade. Don’t recommend.

MiCam Truck GPS

Why the app can’t use anymore, gps connected to my iPhone 13 (iOS 16.5.1), try to use the NAVMAN MiVUE PRO app to search the address but just keep loading not showing up anything. Is there a bug ?
And try to search the address on the gps shows up no results found…what happened…can someone fix it

App very good with some exceptions

Happy with the app overall. I do have a couple of things that could be improved.
1. When adding a device MiVue 1000 xl. I chose the gps device type because the 1000 has gps. It wanted to pair with Bluetooth. No option for network. It would not pair. I then decided to try the non gps device. Was presented with a bunch of device types. No 1000 series listed. Eventually I chose the 800 series and it seamed to work. Connected to network and device came up.

2. Downloading videos is cumbersome via network. There should be a cloud auto upload available. Say keep last 7 days worth in cloud via phone or something like that.

3. Difficult to get videos into photos library on phone.

For those who can’t see the live view

Fir those if you like me who could not see the live View even while connected to the unit please turn off your bluetooth and mobile data in the iphone settings menu for Navman Mivue pro. Once you turn these off you will automatically see your dashcam output on your iphone. Pitty we had to figure this out outselves…
