Live view feed not available

Very disappointed with pairing of camera and iPhone 12, camera will not allow live view as connectivity is lost when camera switching off wifi at end of pairing and presenting a screen that will not navigate away from “if you do not wish to pair ….” So you only left with one option but to impair . No simple way to instruct camera to keep wi fi on.

Lacks basic features

Can't download or view videos from MiCam device. What's the point?

App lacks features and device lacks features that basic dashcams have. Not a great package of software between both app and device. Disappointed with navman, will just use a normal dashcam and smartphone for navigation as that covers everyday use better.

Live view isn’t working

Your Live View isn’t working. It just keeps loading and loading to no end.

Unusable mess

The app is not optimized for iPhone 13 Pro or iOS 15. Menus overlap, app doesn’t take up full screen, missing menus on first screen & setting screen selection options half off the screen & not configurable. Expect much better when advertised for use with a $500 product. Unusable.

Absolute Rubbish

Unable to update camera using app. Unable to download clips.
Doesn’t actually do anything but occasionally opens live view which you can see from the camera screen anyhow. Waste of money for wifi connectivity. Off to another brand!

Buggy

It doesn’t seem like a lot of effort was out into designing this software. It seems like a last minute idea. Some features that would REALLY improve the experience:

1. Confirm the SD card format has completed.
2. Notification that the SD card is about to be wiped (even when only at 50% capacity!!) for new data.

NavMan.. You should give a little love to this software, it’s all we have.

Live view issues

Live view only works once you download the app. Once you get out and back in the app it does not work.
You have to delete the app and re download it for it to work again but then only once and it’s greyed out once again. Pretty poor app can’t get the basics right.

Problematic

I like to have the speed selected on the screen /hud .The speed camera warning will stay on the screen for days then go away for a while and come back . Very frustrating
Parking mode has a mind of its own
I have the proper battery device connected
Some times it stays on as selected , other times it’s turns of with ignition.
Not worth the $

Not user friendly

After downloading the clip into the app, it doesn’t allow you to save it directly to your camera roll or your photos. You have to save it to your files then open that up and save it to your phone then delete the copy in the files to make sure you have room on your phone.

It also doesn’t allow files to queue up for download let alone allow multiple files to download at once.

Shockingly bad

I purchased a dual camera Navman dash cam only to have the rear camera to constantly stop working. On the advice of Navman I changed the SD card at my cost, this had not effect. Additionally I updated the software, now the speed camera warnings don’t work correctly. I recommend you purchase another brand unless you enjoy wasting your money and enduring a great deal of time and frustration with no positive solutions.
