I was very excited to get this scale and use the app. It does not work, so I stopped using the app. But the metric defaults to kg, so I have to login every time. It doesn’t allow you to save the results, nor does it calculate fat, water, etc. My app is up-to-date and so is the software on my phone. It has been an ongoing issue. In surprised the company won’t take the time to fix their app! I used to buy sharper image for other things such as headphones, but I won’t buy their products anymore.
It worked fantastic the first year I’ve had it! Tracked my weight, the date, my history, I could see weight gain, weight loss! Since this new year, it will not keep the weight it says error date. I tried to change the date so I can keep my history and it won’t do anything it keeps saying date! Looking for an update for the app and I cannot find one. So now it’s just I can weigh myself and write it down so I have this app if it’s not going to work anymore!!
Absolutely love the scale, however the app is not functioning properly. It give you your weight but no additional info. Such as water, fat BMI etc. I even tried to set it so I could just save my with and it will not , stating that there is an error. At first, I thought it was the scale because I’ve had it so long so I purchased a new one and it is still doing the same thing. Will be returning . Do better Sharper Image, do better. Hope this gets corrected soon.
When I first got this scale kept the weight in the history and charted. You later now it still shows on the scale, but it won’t transmit to my phone. I don’t know what happened or if it needs to be updated but now it’s not working. I loved it when it worked.
Worked great for a bit. Have had for 6 months already and apart from impedance error which was resolved by allowing scale to stop blinking before saving data. Most recently though, possibly due to the iOS 17 update, I keep getting the “weight data error” which does not allow me to save data or do any of the analysis. Very frustrating.
I have always been able to get my weight, however it will not show anything else.
Scale displays “open Bluetooth” when setting up , but smart scale never appears in device scan on Iphone. Also scale only displays Kilograms, not pounds, with no way to change this setting. In short, this scale is plagued with issues. No tech support to be found, no reset button anywhere, and this app developer is no help either.
App doesn’t work anymore, it just crashes right away. And when it did, it always changed back to Kg so we always had to go back in and change to Lb.
Does not calculate the percentages. Throws up error codes. Calculates weight. Deleted/reuploaded multiple times to get full functions but nothing works. It’s okay.
Had this scale for awhile and it’s worked, for the most part. It always reverts back to Kg which is annoying. But as long as I can get it to connect to the app it will show me lbs on my phone. The latest issue is the scale is displaying “Lo”. I have replaced the batteries numerous times and it continues to display Lo. Highly dissatisfied!
