couldn't add toast cash in app and now expired
When I received 5$ toast cash on January 5th it failed over and over to add in the app because some kind of bug - just spins like it is working but never does anything - and naturally it expired 30 days later so by the time I remembered to try again I assumed I had lost it due to their technical issues. So I tried adding again and it just spins and spins. Impossible to add toast cash and I can't even get an error telling me it is expired thanks to their bugs because they still have it months later! Hangs both on wifi and LTE. Right after initially writing this review in late March I said nuts to it, and I emailed them and they responded flatly that it is a known issue. One that I have seen for over two months. I ask sooooo what are you going to do about the 5$ your bug cost me? They say they don’t know but are working to fix the bug ASAP. The bug that is nearly two months old. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills…. it is simply amazing their app rating is so high!Show lessWorst app
There are so many stupid things about this app. I took the time to write the company to point out some areas that could use improvement. Some weaknesses that they could easily tweak and be the best. But you know their response? Basically, thanks for pointing those things put but we have no intention of making the app better or fixing these issues. Example: you upload a gift card and its then locked to a specific location. What if you ordered at sonic or starbucks? Too bad, you can only use your gift card at one location. Its the most frustrating experience to try to order for this and so many other reasons. I can only imagine the merchant/restaurant experience is just as frustrating yet theyre forced to use the app because there arent good alternatives. Seriously I wish I could give zero stars. Its so frustrating that both my boyfriend and I would rather not order food if the only option is toastShow lessExcept when DoorDash takes over everything, everything works great
DoorDash has repeatedly stolen, 1 or more entrées from the last three times we ordered - same address three different people ordering over the course of three months. and we are so upset that one time a toast delivery had an entree stolen! That was because our order was headed over to a DoorDash delivery. It took me an hour on the phone to figure this out and have everyone leave each other blame each other . DoorDash will say it’s not their fault and the restaurant will say it’s not their fault (it took many calls to find the manager and trick him into picking up the phone !) and the drivers just freely steal so ? we do everything we can to never use DoorDash of course. !Show less
