  • Never have I had a negative experience

I am writing a review for the laundry machines which are in the hallway of my apartment building. The machines are great. And I’m grateful to have them here. Although the company should come out and clean them, like an industrial cleaning agent, with the hot bleach and all, like once a month at least. Only because I know some people simply have no respect and will put extremely soiled items in the shared washers and dryer machines. But other than that, every experience I have had is a good one.

  • Going Back to Quarters Would Be More Useful

Unfortunately my building switched to this app for our laundry room. I had nearly $50 of credit on my previous card, and I was told I could transfer it to this app. What they failed to mention is that it’s not compatible with an iPhone, therefore I have no way to access it. When I contacted the company they confirmed it doesn’t work with iPhone and they would look into it. That was several months ago, and there have been no updates. Clearly it’s not on the top of their list to fix. So not only do I no longer have a laundry room card that works, I’m out $50 too. Going back to using quarters would be better than using this app.

  • New laundry units

We just got these new machine about 4-6 wks ago. So far, so good. I’ve only had 1 issue or I would have given 5 stars. (I wish there was an option for 4.5 stars). The game due we had was with the laundry card. We were able to purchase a card without any issues. When we tried to reload the card, we kept getting an error messege. We used the same credit/debit that we used to purchase the card and I know there is money in the account. We’ve tried multiple times and the same thing happens. I just decided to used the app to pay for the laundry and haven’t had a problem. I do like that it notifies you when your laundry is done.

  • Convenience

Have had a hard time adjusting to apartment living and shared laundry facilities.
With this app at least I can continue with my everyday tasks and have the convenience of knowing when my laundry will be done without staying in the laundry room waiting.
The app alerts you about 5 minutes before your laundry is even done allowing you time to get back & switch loads before someone else mite.

  • Mostly Good But Took my Money one time & No credit was granted

90 percent has worked well for me as a customer. However, the one time it did not work and I lost $2.25 due to dryer broken. I was unable to get my refund or satisfaction from the app that it communicated my issue. So I’m concerned if your machine was to go down again I would be in the same position just up the creek with no resolution or return of credits. So for that I would give a 3 or 4 but decided to go with a 4 since it’s only has happened once.

  • Disgusting

This app takes too long to load and connect, and 2.50 for laundry is overpriced. The machines can only take small loads too.
Once a machine charged me for a load and never started. I submitted a request but never got my money back.
Now, I was kicked out of my account randomly, and I couldn’t log back in or recover my password. I tried to create a new account but it wouldn’t let me due to my number being registered already. Now instead of being able to recover my account with my phone number, seeing as how that matters so much; I’ll never be able to get back in again. The money I have on there is gone.
    Thanks.

  • Timer is a lie, support is useless

This app will for sure take your money and unlock the washer to be run, initially. However the timer on the app is just a “dumb” timer, at least with the washers and dryers in my building. Also the app will lose connection with the unit you’re using very easily during the transaction step, and sometimes not make the connection at all, so make sure to remember which unit you used.

If your washer (for some reason) has a problem during a load, the timer will count down like nothing went wrong. This is extremely disruptive and destroys half the usefulness of the app. The timer should be removed completely since it doesn’t work, you’re better off using the built in timer on your phone.

When I complained and said a washer maybe needed servicing in my building, I was told I was overloading the washer (was not the case at all) and that they had looked at that unit earlier and found no issues.

A shoddy app all around, I am baffled with the good reviews.

  • Terrible customer service, terrible app

Sent an hour on the phone with customer service, during which time they did “troubleshooting” which involved over 30 minutes of asking me if I was connected to Wi-Fi and telling me to turn my phone on and off again. Instead of creating a new account, which we should have done before 30 minutes of nonsense, Ashley-the customer service rep- decided to explain to me why she wasted 30 minutes, saying things like “do you want me to help you”. Terrible service altogether, including the washers and dryers, which are poorly cared for. Fortunately I called back and got Charlie, who reset my account (which should have been done even 5-10 minutes into the first call). Avoid if possible.

  • Does the job well. Some perks. Not many complaints.

We’ve had this on our building’s machines for several months now. They’re easier and more reliable than another company at another building, where you had to use pay cards. The device that refilled that card often failed on weekends due to connection issues or something. I can’t speak for other tenants, but I have few complaints about LaundryConnect. I like the alerts when cycles are done and real-time status checks on all the machines. Helps to avoid crowding in the laundry room. There was a brief issue with the app not connecting for a few days but customer service did a good job of working the problem out (note: go away from the laundry room and use your home Wi-Fi to reinstall the app).

  • Great App

I really didn’t want ANOTHER app but when my condo association put in new washers and dryers and the ability to simply use a credit card was not a possibility I succumbed. I’m so glad I did! I love that it tells me how many minutes my laundry has left to wash it dry. I love that it tells you which, if any, washers and dryers are empty before I haul my laundry downstairs. I love that it provides a week by week graph showing how busy the laundry room is depending on the time of day and what day of the week it is!
