Parental Control
I love the unit and the app!! It gives me the ability to turn wifi off at a certain time, daily.. It's a shame I have do this, but if I don't then the kids are up all night and early morning playing video games and then want to sleep all day. Nope!!
Problems and Basic
When I first got Fastwyre, they gave me information to download this app and use it to control my modem/router. The information they gave me was for someone else’s router. I had to create another account with a different email and connect to the router I have. There seems to be no way to disconnect a router once connected to an account.
Beyond that, the app will bombard you with basic information such as IPV4 land attack blocked from ip #, ZGrab scanner from up outside the network, NMAp scripting from outside network, and TCP experimental options found… No other information that could help you figure out why these messages keep going. The offending pc I have is a pihole server on my network. So beware.

Adding products
Just haven’t been able to add my Bluetooth printer to the internet… pretty user friendly otherwise
Similar to a Ubiquity Router
I wished it had more options but as for a company router this one is the best in Canada. I have tried BELL, COGECO, and Vianet. This router is far superior. 3 months in and not a problem just amazing.
Better than Nighthawk app
I’ve been using the app to manage my Nighthawk router for years. I just got a router that said to use this app to manage it by. This app is so much better. Easier to use. More clear. better and easier to understand and use tools to manage the prioritization of devices, and what’s connected.
Finally internet
Thank goodness for Fybe, the only other internet in Gates, NC was with the local phone company & it was terrible. The very top of the line was 10mbps but was lucky to get 8mbps…if it was working. Thankfully this internet has been installed, it’s awesome. I even told my neighbor & she signed up that day, to get away from her poor service. I know living in the country comes with challenges but we shouldn’t have to get robbed or have poor service. Thank you, FYBE.

Easy and dependable
The app almost always works and has few glitches. Only thing I’ve found I don’t like, is that I cannot find where to view parental control features. Other than that it’s pretty simple and user friendly.
Useful Info
We recently had ClearWave fiber optic internet install. Command IQ app was installed along with the service to help see who and what devices is connected to WiFi. The information has been both interesting and useful. With the restrictions capabilities I can make sure our grandkids don’t inadvertently access websites they should not be exposed to.

Awful App
I upgraded to gigafast broadband with a local provider. This App rarely works and is the most non-user friendly buggy app that I have ever experienced - terrible… I’ve signed up for a two year contract with the broadband provider and now I am stuck with this hopeless app…
