Frustrating !!!
I have booked and paid for two nights at a camp and my payment went out of my bank but Hipcamp haven’t received it so I booked and paid again for just one night at the same camp site but Hipcamp have not processed my payment so I can’t go to the camp site .. it’s now the next morning and my payments apparently haven’t gone through still. But my bank says they have.
I messaged Hipcamp support and explained this plus sent them copies of my bank receipts showing my payments and I received a message back saying it could take 24 hours for them to reply.

Unbelievably good!
The owners were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had everything we needed and more. The bathroom and toilet were beautifully clean with instant hot water and the washing up facilities were very convenient. Damian and Alli were super responsive and organised, supplying a new gas bottle within 5 minutes. We enjoyed feeding the goats and miniature horses. The site was quiet and 4 chairs and a table were provided. Overall, it had the luxury of a hotel and the fun of camping all in one.Show lessRoogles

Marg and Kerry are warm, inviting and entertaining and make you feel instantly at home- you can join them for a wine at sundown or you can just be in your own world.
The van site was lush green with peach trees and fairy wrens flittering! Walking around the property is calming with gorgeous manicured gardens, fish ans frogs in ponds and such a variety of trees and plants.
Beautiful glimpses of sunset on the warm night- we felt we’d entered some perfect oasis yet the town of Shepparton just 5 minutes away and I hear, an amazing gallery and restaurant.
Hurlstone is a destination in itself, not just a stop on the way to elsewhere as we had intitially booked for and will be back for sure! I Cannot recommend highly enough!Show lessbudgielove
Hipcamp even easier
Overall I liked the features the app provided and there was easy access to my listings as a host but there are many features lacking in regards to editing one’s listings. The calendar doesn’t seem to be synced with my other calendars like the website does. Having the ability to switch to instant booking or pause my listing is a must for the app in my opinion.
Therebis s major problem when I try to modify my calendar and block off days while using on my iphone 6s where I can’t send my response as to why I needed to modify(booked on another platform) and I am stuck on the selection window, unable to leave even if I rotate the screen, so I am forced to close the app down and start over doing something else.Show lesskiddypow

Once we installed some basic necessities for a glamping-like experience @ or homebase, we started using the ap for all of our needs from a reservation system, to quality customer service and a piece of mind insurance policy that is part of the foundation to make it all work. Our lives are surely easier as hosts to have this ap installed, and is a go to when we are looking for destination camp experiences and unique stays as campers. 🍁🍂⛺️🚐🪵👌🏻👍Show lessNomadicdj
One Very Annoying Bug
I’m new to the app and will probably use this for my family’s camping accommodations. One thing I’ve noticed already though which is really frustrating is that whenever you have scrolled say to the 105th listing of 1,000, when you go back to the search results to look at more listings it brings you all the way back to the top so you have to scroll down each time which is time consuming and a huge turn off for other apps I use for shopping, a real deal breaker for me. I’m giving the app 4.8 stars because: -Instead of resuming your spot on a filtered search, you are sent back to the top of list. Then you have to scroll all the way down to the site you just viewed. -You are unable to edit your favorite list other than adding/removing favorite sites. The ability to add/remove lists and to change the name of the list would be great. -The limited filter query is frustrating. I would like the ability to filter based on ratings, # of reviews, # of sites per camp, and keywords. Otherwise, the app gets 5 stars!Show lessKaocow00

We have used Hipcamp twice now and both occasions yielded us stays that were quite good. The information was accurate.
It would be most helpful if the icons for each listed property stated the region and state that it was located instead of having to enter each listing to find this basic information.
It makes each search a little laborious with out having this information easily identifiable.Show lesskww511
Horrible.
I can’t trust your calendar. You showed that I had no one checking out today - but I had a one night reservation that just disappeared! Hosts need to be able to rely on your calendar. The mobile app site doesn’t allow you to see past reservations, which is often needed. If I click on a reservation I can’t see our communication, I have to wade through every inquiry from the beginning of time. I can’t differentiate in price between large RVs and trailers (that need certain types of sites), and a tent camper which is low impact and has many area they can access to camp. The site is onerous and the mobile app is way limited. You’ve been doing this since 2013. GET BETTER!!!Show lessBlanca123
Serenity
This is my new vacation spot every year. Wasnt too bad of a drive coming from Fenton. Unfortunately it rained, was cold and their lake was dried up but there is 2 beaches near by and one with a splash pad for the kids. If you are into greens they have one just 2.7 down m-30 priced awesome! The cabin was just the perfect size for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. Bonfire, cool walking paths and sooo many animals around to see! Its just so peaceful! The cabin is equipped with a ton of things so dont over pack like i did! It has a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, washer/dryer, shower, toilet inside, games to play and even WIFI! Outside the have a covered picnic table to eat on. Just loved the place and the owners were very welcoming!Show lesskcesarz
