  • Could be great

I love being able to see my progress. The features of the app are nice, I like seeing my speed, calories, distance, etc. The app picks up my bike quickly when I head out for a ride. But... it completely lost a 30 mile ride, and it won't give me my badge for 50 miles in a week or 100 miles in a week. I love the badges for motivation! They have been great for setting goals, but so disappointing when I earn them and I don't get that banner. I need my carrot!

  • Works in theory only

I’ve been trying to use this app to monitor my morning rides. Frequently, it fails to connect to the wheel sensor and, more troubling, it logs me out for no reason. The log outs happen at random and require me to re-enter my email and password. Very tough while riding! Also, the ride timer is mostly useless. No rhyme or reason to when it thinks your ride ends or starts. You should be able to start, pause and stop the timer. But you can’t. A shame.

  • I’m SO disappointed

Firstly I live my Treadwell. That being said the sensor and connection was a huge selling point if only the stupid thing would work. I mean when I ride it does manage to work sometimes but I just received a notification about the basket recall. Opened the app, it has no idea who I am. Says my password is incorrect so I attempted to do the “forgot password “ nothing happens it just sits there Guess it’s a good thing I’m not riding my bike today cause I have zero access to the app. I would hope that at some point you find some people to work on the app cause I can see it would have potential is someone bothered to work on it

  • Promising but poorly done

The idea is good but execution is highly flawed. I like the handlebar mount system, and the info on the bicycle and maintenance. But the rest of it works only intermittently.

    While riding:
    1) regularly gets confused and thinks I’m starting a new ride, even when just stopped at stop sign. Sometimes it seems to figure this out and combine rides, sometimes not. Seems random.
    2) often loses speed tracking even while keeping time tracking.
    3) mapping is on different screen than speed so have to stop and switch screens to use directions.

    While not riding:
    4) the “synch” process is awful. Documentation explains that garmin device has to use phone to connect to servers, and then ride tracking gets updated. It also explains that when “last synch date” isn’t current, how to update. It rarely works.
    5) data is incomplete even when synced. For example, I have a ride that shows 16.5 miles (correct) without a complete map. Ok, maybe lost connection (no way...), but why does same ride show on graph of distance by day as five miles?

I could go on. I would recommend using the SP Connect mounting system using built-in Cannondale connection in handlebar, but don’t use this app for speed or directions while riding or to track rides over time.

Kind of a sad effort here.

  • Great so far on my CX1

I don’t understand why some have issues with this? Maybe a faulty device or old software. I have been have used it since May 2020. My bike came with the garmin sensor on the wheel. Everything syncs great. The sensor wakes up when the wheel starts moving. In case you forget to open the app it will start recording for you. If you stop for a break it will stop tracking. And when you start again it will start tracking again and later it will combine total distance that day. We made several stops and at the end of the ride it showed the entire route and stats combined under “Performance”. The distance accuracy matches up well with my apple watch also. It shows you total miles on your bike, I wish it also showed total hours.

  • Cannondale Please respond!

I love my new bike, it has a sensor included but it won’t connect. it will blink green for about 3 seconds, but it won’t pop up. I replace the battery with four different batteries, and none of them worked. I’ve already seen all of the terrible reviews on this app, but the bike is literally amazing. The user interface looks very sleek, but you need to fix the bluetooth connection.

Thanks for reading, if you did.

  • Does its job but not well

The app collects the bike ride’s data and displays it but there could be better improvements to the app. Setting up the app went smooth. I created an account and synced the bike per the instructions. Then it loaded some previous days rides which was really nice that it stores that info even before syncing with a phone. However, after using the app for a bit, I found some flaws. There isnt a simple way to “end” your ride. Turns out you have to click on the wheel icon and click “end your ride and switch bikes”. Thats too extra, just needs a “end ride”. This issue leads to the problem of having your latest ride not sync because when you leave your bike and not press the “end ride...” button, it doesn’t sync so you can’t see the ride summary. I just learned how to end the ride and that allowed me to see the last ride. Also some music and map integration would be nice during the ride. For example if I have my phone on a phone mount, it would be nice to see a map of my progress while in a ride and also be able to change music volume for my headphones.

  • Works better than expected

Works pretty well for keeping track of where and how far I biked. Only downside is that if bike stopped for more than a few minutes, Bluetooth sensor will disconnect and needs to be reactivated by spinning front wheel. Otherwise, sensors stop recording ride. If that could be improved, I would give this five stars

  • Great bike, app stinks

This is my first Cannondale bike and I am enjoying riding it. The app on the other is the exact opposite. Half of my rides are not recorded, the ones that are have me riding in San Francisco and I’m in Ohio.

I take long rides, several hours at a time, stopping when necessary, such as water breaks, bathroom breaks, waiting for the light to change, etc. The app won’t combine the ride into one ride. It breaks it up, loosing some of the rides altogether. My partner suggested the app she uses, MapMyRide and I have found that app to me much more accurate, and it syncs automatically.

I don’t need to spin my front wheel for a half hour waiting for this app to synchronize.

  • Needs a LOT of work!

Pretty undeveloped app. When you finish a ride, it doesn’t show up in the Activity Log but shows up in daily mileage. It wants you to go back and spin your wheel so the sensor can sync with CDale’s server, but it stalls at 90%. The mapping is spotty, the Garage section *sometimes* tells you how many cumulative miles you’ve gone...it also needs a pause button so your ride doesn’t shut down if you stopped for a long break. Lots of fixes needed!
