We're excited to announce the release of version 2.9 of our mobile application, which includes several new features and improvements. Here are the highlights: Introducing our improved Answering Service system (similar to IVR): We've improved how this feature works, which allows you to handle incoming calls more efficiently. When callers reach your phone number, they'll be greeted with a menu of options that you've defined, such as "press 1 for sales," "support," and "billing" or send your business info in a text - try adding your scheduling calendar link to your Business Info or a link to your Yelp review page. This allows your callers to select the department or person they need to speak with, without having to go through a receptionist or switchboard. You can also customize the voice prompts for each option, so callers know exactly what to do. Improved call routing: Record or upload a custom greeting prompt and toggle Answering Service ON then you can set up call routing rules based on the caller's selection. For example, if a caller selects "sales," their call will be routed directly to your sales team. This helps to reduce wait times and improve customer satisfaction. Text message notifications: We've also added the ability to receive text message notifications when you receive a new voicemail or missed call. This ensures that you never miss an important message, even if you're away from your phone. Bug fixes and performance improvements: tapping "Done" takes you back to the Inbox for a swifter experience, the VIP crown sticks around if you've toggled it on from Contact Details, and the Auto Reply is clearer with a nice big [Save] button for any changes. Update now and submit your business for SMS Text messaging registration from Settings in the app. This new verified status for your phone number helps ensure higher message deliverability and reduced filtering. Put a checkmark next to your phone number from Dialed and continue to enjoy uninterrupted texting from your business number today.

We've added a few things that have been requested by you, our users, the last few months. Swipe to delete contacts, messages or a label you don't like. Texts are a bit more animated and you can archive them or delete them forever :bye_bitch: We added tap targets on tricky features and took away the ghost keyboard. We're taking a break from our integration with Square so we can revisit it in the future and make it better. Until next time!

We've made some adjustments to a few things around the app. Most notably a contact will now be inside the "recipient" field instead of hanging below it, message width adjustment, colors in dark mode are now more consistent, and Contact Import will resolve after a successful import. Duplicate contacts should also be non-existent in Labels going forward or when adding a new contact that may already exist in your account.
