  • Browning Cell Cam

By far the easiest cell cam to work in the industry! I’m running 12 cameras now. I literally took it out of the box and threw some batteries and a SD card in it, turned it on, linked it to my account and it’s up and running. Pictures are high quality and app is user friendly. I’m very satisfied with the Brownings!

  • Great app. Easy to setup and use.

I’ve been using the Strikeforce app for 3 years and have never experienced any issues. Setting up the cameras and plan are easy and just take a few steps. I love the ability to control all of my cameras settings through the app. And love getting my pictures immediately sent to my phone. I have 4 Browning cameras on my plan and it is easy to see pictures and settings for each individual camera. Creating categories makes it easy to quickly find pictures of specific animals. The sort and filters make it easy to find pictures or videos from specific dates, moon phases, temperatures, etc.

  • Easy enough

Recently got a cell cam and set up an account. Was able to do so in about 5 minutes with no issues. It took me the longest to peruse the plans and select the right one. Cams been out for a few days and has already sent a few hundred pics to the app and all seems to work well.

  • PLEASE fix Sorting

The cameras are rock solid, I have some over 2 years old been in harsh conditions and keep working while using very little battery power.

The app is not a compliment to the hardware. Sorting has been broken for over 1 year. When viewing a picture the pictures always reset to the most recent. When I’m looking at a picture from months prior and I have to scroll back it’s extremely frustrating.

This was never an issue in the previous platform.

  • Version 2.14.5 is broken

Adding an option for Face ID has now broken the app and it won’t accept ANY password, including Face ID. So now I’m paying for wireless service on a camera that I cannot access, because of an app update that wasn’t tested before being released.

Oh, and another thing…a middle-school coder could make the iPad version landscape compatible, but apparently Browning, with all of their money, can’t contract with someone who has basic skills to accomplish this simple task.

  • Please fix sorting

Unlike most reviews I am pleased overall with the app and cameras. Picture quality is excellent and the cameras work in a rural area that has very little cell service.

When viewing a picture full screen if you request the HD image it returns you to the most recent image taken. Very frustrating when looking at pictures from several days back and have to scroll all the way back down.

I miss the old app, the new app doesn’t offer any benefits.

  • Worst Camera app ever!

I had been using a popular competitors cameras for many a years, and was not satisfied with the photo transfer I decided to the Browning Cameras. After downloading the app, I struggled to create an account ( which required assistance from Browning). After they assisted, while trying to sign in to connect my camera, the app again froze me out, requiring contacting Browning a second time. I received a generic “Try this email” , none of the suggested actions being successful. The next step was to recontact Browning for a third time. That is the point in time I decided to return the unit and look for a different camera maker to try.

The camera itself looked well made, but the issues with the app lead me to conclude the Browning solution should be avoided! Be fore warned!

  • Go buy another brand of trail camera

I thought Browning was quality, turns out I was wrong. Instructions for set up are clunky, not to mention once you get into the app, it’s disgraceful. The download picture button doesn’t work, you have to request HD pictures that are still grainy, I’m convinced the megapixel number is bogus because taking the same picture with my iPhone 12 Pro is somehow better with less megapixels. This is garbage and I’ll be canceling my subscription and returning the trail camera.

  • Decent camera , poor app design

The layout of the new version of the app couldn’t be worse.. I regret updating.. the layout and user flow of this version is incredibly counter intuitive... it’s almost like they meant to make it as frustrating as possible..
  • Notification not work

The notification does not work it happens to me with other iphones and with my tablet, I have a friend who does not work the notification either, they should solve this
