Why??? Not shopping at FT until this is fixed
Don’t get why they made people switch to an app without getting the bugs figured out first. Had to reset my password for no reason and this app is sooo slow to load. Plus all I want to do is add items from the weekly ad to a shopping list like the old app...that’s pretty simple functionality but now they’ve made it a nightmare!
Update: I tried to use the app at the store for the first time. I was already frustrated that the ad wouldn’t load and I couldn’t save items from the ad to my shopping list (how did this not make the list of things to check before go-live????). Then when I got to the checkout I had clipped a coupon for a free salad. The cashier and I sat there for a full FIVE MINUTES trying to find the barcode to use to redeem the coupon (everyone in line behind me sure was happy). We finally find the barcode and she scans it and it doesn’t even work!! To top it all off she starts taking like I guess I’m not getting my free Salad... I made her get the manager to take it off. Such a waste of my time!! This took a normally very pleasant shopping experience and made it so frustrating and inconvenient. I will not be back to Fresh Thyme unless this gets fixed. Hope this developer got fired!

Looks like they fixed the issues?
I logged into the old app and got the same pop-up other reviewers mentioned about needing the new app and then the whole resetting the password deal... and then- no issues. The weekly ad pulls up just fine and I SUPER freaking love that they have finally incorporated a barcode scanner in the app. Full disclosure- I have not used this app in store yet, so I’m not sure if there’s any scanning issues... though it did just fine scanning the mayonnaise in my pantry. But all in all, I don’t care about needing to download a new app and resetting a password. Inconvenient but whatevs. So far, pretty nice and user friendly app.

Deleted old app; now I just get white screen
I haven’t successfully used the new app after several attempts. I kept trying to revert back to open 1.0, but it took me to the app store to open 2.0 each time. So I deleted the old app so I’d stop that useless step. Now when I try to open 2.0, all I get is a white screen. I never could open an ad, nor did I see a shopping list on the new one, which is why I tried to open it this morning—to add something I just thought of to my list (which I guess is long gone when I deleted 1.0). This is making it hard to help a friend who cannot drive. I do her FT run each week to support her anti-inflammatory diet. Hard to do when neither of us can see the ad to stay in budget. Hope this gets straightened out soon. I LOVE Fresh Thyme!

Terrible app
Didn’t know there was a “new” app until I went to check out today and my old app wouldn’t work.
After wasting time standing at the checkout trying to download the app, which wouldn’t over the store WiFi, had to switch to cellular data. Then it forced me to change passwords which I did and then it didn’t want to accept change and told me I had to open a new account?
At this point I just said forget the app, paid for my purchase and left the store.
I finally, on the fourth try at home got the app loaded, forced new password and all.
All my past purchase history receipts are gone. Navigation is not very intuitive, you will be searching to find what you want. I not sure why some gave it a 5 star review? I will not be one who does.
In my opinion looks like a beta version that wasn’t shown to anyone and launched anyway. I will not be using it. Ironic in that I received an email today saying since I was a valued customer I had $5 off coupon.....guess where.....in the app....if you can find it......after you get it loaded.
OK, stepping off my soapbox now.

NIGHTMARE
I just tried to access my app and was redirected to re download. I just tried to navigate the app, the list view, the ad view, and the list maker and it’s an absolute nightmare. It is awkward. It is not user friendly. If you have ever had to use any government apps, it’s just as big of a pain in the neck as one of those. I used to really like this app. I helped some of my older friends get set up with the fresh thyme app and now they are going back to using the paper ad. I am so disgusted. I suppose someone is trying to justify their paycheck by making these huge changes. I really detest having to go back to a paper ad and a pen and paper grocery list. Also, why is there so much space taken up by rectangles with Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc? It is quite unnecessary. I hope this gets fixed or you go back to the old user friendly format.
Also, this would get ZERO stars, but you have to give at least one star for a review.

Can’t even get into my account!
I just wasted a bunch of time on this. It forced me to change my password. Okay fine - I followed the link, to a page of the app which wouldn’t display correctly - the typing was offset so I could only see part. I tried to change my password but nothing happened. I went back out, followed the link again. Same problem. Then I found I could move the page up and see an error - not enough something in my new password. Couldn’t read it as the whole page was still not showing. Added another letter. It seemed to take it, then it took me to a login page where I thought I’d finally be able to log in. When I tried, it asked for my new password.
I just wanted to look at the ad for this week! When I tried to do that without logging it, there was a half page and telling me to create an account! It wouldn’t even close when I repeatedly tapped on the X.
I don’t care to waste any more time on this right now, other than this review! Get it together. I’m skipping your store tomorrow because I couldn’t even read the ad on your “improved” app.
