  • Progress issue

I am thoroughly enjoying using the skill yoga app and classes and finding them extremely informative and easy to follow, I would recommend this to any fellow athlete or even a beginner in fitness.

However the issue I have with the app is that when I repeat a program I have completed before it no longer records my last session and wants me to begin at session 1 even if I’m on day 3 or 4.

Hi athlete, Thanks for bringing this up. Unfortunately this has been happening for the past weeks, pretty nasty bug. Our backend yogis have meditated over it for a while and now it’s fixed. This shouldn’t happen anymore with the next app update which will be available next week! Sorry for this! Have a nice one and see you on the mat!
  • Best Yoga App for Flexibility

I have been giving this yoga workout a try and I must say the benefits already are immense and I’m inculcating it in my workouts forever

the flexibility and mobility is already showing.
I thought the workouts were easy but you sweat buckets😂
Plus I can now regulate my breathing which is something I have always struggled with!

  • Good content but needs iPad version

The content it self is great and I’ve really enjoyed the workout sessions. I just really wish there was an iPad version of the app. It would make the user interface WAY better. I find that it makes the most sense using the app on an iPad rather than on your phone anyway.
  • Huge, huge, fan!

I had never really done yoga before and decided to try this app while stuck at home during Covid. I consider myself athletic but not very flexible, so flexibility was something that I wanted to improve.

I was also looking for an app that would help slowly introduce me to Yoga and all of the many techniques and poses, while also improving my strength and mobility.

I’ve been doing the “beginner” videos for the past few weeks and I couldn’t be happier with this app. I always feel so good, rested, and sore (in a good way!) after each session. The sessions are perfect and just challenging enough to keep me on my toes (literally).

I’m looking forward to my continued progress using this app.

Thank you for such an amazing app!

  • Skill Yoga Review

For the 20’s Male athlete trying to retain mobility and flexibility: this is the app for you. Short, but very challenging sessions that can fill in for a lift if desired. These workouts leave me feeling nimble and refreshed. Tore my ACL last year and this app has enabled me to regain some of the prior athleticism.

  • Challenging but AMAZING

Hands down the best yoga app I’ve seen. I look forward to my training every night and love seeing the progress I’m making with the help of the skilled coaches and their workouts. The Shavasana at the end is the perfect way to round out the workout and really helps you connect with your body, both physically and mentally (as does the whole program, honestly).

The only advice I would give is to start with the Beginner level. Being a personal trainer and self-proclaimed gym rat, I assumed I’d be fine skipping the Beginner level and going straight to Advanced. I paid dearly for that in the beginning as the workouts are challenging in a different and refreshing way.

All in all, this is a perfect app for all yoga levels, and is very highly recommended.

  • Won’t be paying for it

This app has a nice design, very clean and user friendly.

However, the videos and routines on the app feel very uncoordinated and unpolished. The Audio in the videos doesn’t seem to sync up and match the person demonstrating most of the time which makes it hard to follow along for beginners. Adding to that a lot of the poses/movements in the routines are inconsistent asking you to hold one side for 5 breaths and then only holding it for 5 seconds on the other.

The out of sync audio and the inconsistent counting/timing make for some very inconsistent yoga sessions... while I really liked the design of the app and liked the idea behind skill yoga, I won’t be paying beyond the trial.

Hi Lenzeplin! Sounds like you rather had a stairway to hell... sorry. Thank you very much for your critical feedback. Really appreciate it. Could you point out which workout you did encountering these issues? We‘re keen to get this fixed as it sounds like a really unpleasant experience. Sorry about that! It would be great if you could send an email to our customer support@skill-yoga.com with details. Thanks and sorry again!
  • Great and very helpful

Well instructed throughout every workout, enjoyable and worth every penny. My only constructive criticisms would be that I use this every day, as it’s so great, so it’d be good if more flows/instructed videos were uploaded. I’ve exhausted the same videos, to which that I am capable of completing. However, I think the point is that this is also used as a guideline and you should take postures and ideas from this and incorporate these into your own flow.

Definitely worth buying, worth every penny, everything’s great! Just want more!

  • First time trying yoga

I’ve never taken a yoga class before. After the gyms closed due to the Covid virus, I decided to give this app a try. I am so glad I did. I completed the beginner portion and am redoing it now and it’s gotten quite easier. I hadn’t realized how stiff I was until I started doing the yoga program. My posture has improved as well as my ankle and shoulder mobility (I couldn’t move either much without dull pain). I can’t wait to continue progressing and hopefully when the gyms reopen, I’ll see better ROM with my lifts.

  • Band New to Yoga

I've been wanting to improve my flexibility and stamina for a long time. I’m glad stumbled upon this app and have been working my way through the beginner sessions. I already feel looser and have less tension headaches. Looking forward to doing this consistently.
