Overpriced, wasteful design, horrible customer service
I was really hoping to have an option to help my migraines without a medication. But there are so many things wrong with this device.
1) It only turns on/starts a treatment when connected to the app, so an IOS update left it useless when needed. It’s also really difficult to use my phone while I have a migraine. Honestly the very last thing I want to do is look into any light source.
2) There are only 12 treatments per device. This seems incredibly arbitrary and wasteful. And expensive.
3) It has to work with the app, but by design (per customer service) also automatically disconnects from the app “for your convenience” during a treatment. So when I needed to adjust the intensity level, I couldn’t, because it was not responding. I had to reset the 45 minute treatment after only 20 minutes because it was too intense, but the app was not responding. I was docked a full treatment. I thought it was a glitch because the counter didn’t immediately show this, and assumed customer service would help. Nope. I was basically told it was my fault. I asked for a credit of one treatment and they insisted that I had used two full treatments in a row and that I should read the directions.
4) The design of the app turning off during treatment negates its necessity. A simple power button and intensity control button would be so much easier to use during a migraine! The features in the app (a calendar of treatments and questions about pain levels, etc) are difficult to use when looking into the phone feels like a pickaxe into my brain.
I don’t think the developers considered the needs of the end users, and just went for the oooh it’s an app controlled fancy new expensive bells and whistles bs. Do one focus group with actual patients and I am sure the consensus will be that none of the features beyond the actual treatment is helpful.
So go for it if you want to blow $100 for possibly 12 (maybe fewer if it disconnects) treatments that are not be available anyway because IOS updated and the app won’t work anymore.

Easy to use
My migraines have been terrible lately, and I feel that all of the medications I’m on are burning a hole in my stomach. Nerivio has been great to give me a break from meds while still getting migraine relief. Thanks for creating this device!
Poor design and functionality
The app forgets it’s connected to the device even when it is running the device. You have to repair it at least once a session.
As for the device you can only use it 12 times and have to get a new one. This is crazy that it can’t be recharged or just get new sticky pads.
I won’t comment on the treatment function as that is for each individual, but the tech functions are so limited that I’m disappointed that I spent $100 on this.
