  • Great place

I didn’t know what to expect at my first class today . They are first class all the way , they made you feel right at home , they had free lockers , and recommended where you could park , they do have paid parking at the building , they even offered free water for first timers . They took the time to getting to know you , I had a massive stroke almost 8 years ago , was paralyzed on left side for awhile , I still have not regain 100 percent but are close to it . They didn’t make me feel any different from any of the others class mates . I walk away feeling that I could strive to get my old body back in shape , I even had more energy . That is a plus . If you have bad knees like I do , it wasn’t hard on them at all . I can not say how wonderful this place is .
I attended the broad ripple store . Take a chance
Become stronger , and enjoy the new you . Oh and yes I’m 62 going on 63 , so you others senior can do it also.

  • Activity Icon is Back! :)

This has been a great app. It’s so convenient to manage my class schedule and sign in with. I was so irritated when the activity icon was replaced with the XPass icon. I’ve looked into XPass, calculates prices, and determined it has zero value to me. Some of the classes you take through XPass are actually more expensive than if you paid for a single class directly from the studio. There I are no deals to be had from XPass. So when I notice that icon was gone and the activity icon was back where it belongs, I was thrilled.

If you are looking for something similar to XPass but won’t gauge you, look at ClassPass’s free trial. It depends on your city, but ClassPass is actually a fantastic value.

  • New version 50% useless

This app is convenient and despite some trouble k would give the previous version probably 4 stars. But there is a new version and in addition to the already useless pure barre go tab they have added an xpass tab. I think most members probably want to just access their normal classes, and don’t pay another chunk on top of the already hefty pb dues to have go or xpass. I really liked the activity tab that they moved from the front page, and I hate that they now turned 40% of the front page of this app into ads for additional stuff. Makes them look even more greedy. Maybe make the tabs customizable so can get rid of the useless ones, so that one person who did want to see these can add them themselves.

  • The Xpass change is horrible.

The most recent update just changed the bottom shortcut banner to have Xpass instead of Activity. What a downgrade. I have an unlimited membership and I like to track my progress each month. This change has made it more difficult to access the feature I am interested in and it ruined what I would have given a 5 star rating to this App. It feels kinda scammy to push an additional membership I’m flat out not interested in. Not cool PureBarre.

If you want to promote Xpass build a separate app for it, not an app within an app.

  • Suggestion to deselect certain notification types

Overall, I’m pretty please with the app! I do wish there was a way we could pick and choose which notifications we received. I like the class time notifications, but as a lifestyle member, I don’t necessarily need to know about class packs or single class discounts.
  • Stuck

Has anyone else had a problem of the app sticking on a class after finishing it and not allowing you to X out of that class? It’s happened to me twice. When I go back to use the app for the next class or to sign in, it’s just frozen on that old class. I deleted the app and reinstalled it but did it again on the first try.

  • Barre is great. App needs help.

I see a ton of posts and reviews about how Barre is amazing….I’m here only for the app. Yes, Barre is amazing and keeps my spinal hardware happy. These great reviews need to go on your studios social page.

Anyway……I wish I could get rid of the “earn your watch challenge”. I didn’t need a new watch, don’t need to track, and wish it would go away.

You can only track one challenge. If you sign up for the Fall fit challenge and track, you can’t track platinum barre challenge also and still have to count a million times so you don’t mess it up 10 months in. Would he nice to have both.

Watch app is ok. Can’t sign in to class from it. Can only start a workout that pushes over to apple health. I’ve had no trouble here, but I wish I could see the biometrics on the screen during class instead of just a digital clock. It would be nice to see at minimum a heart rate.

    Looking forward to updates. Thanks!

  • Great App

I really look forward to Pure Barre workouts. I am a barre bro and could no longer do heavy weights or high impact at age 45 because of old wrestling injuries. I originally started Barre as Barre Blend on Beachbody, which is an awesome program. After doing the program multiple times I was looking for something else. I first went to Barre3, which I thought was really fun and the app is really good, but every workout just has too many squats, which led to knee pain. Otherwise, the workouts weren’t hard enough for me. Pure Barre workouts are great. I am interested and feel challenged. You get abs and pretty much a full body workout every single time. I pretty much think every single trainer is great. The workouts themselves I feel are superior to any other barre program that I’ve done (with exception of barre blend on Beachbody (but that doesn’t come out with NEW workouts like purebarre). My only criticism of pure barre is that their app isn’t the best. It doesn’t track your workouts well. I would prefer the workouts to be more organized into programs. Also, the names of the workout types, like intensive and empower are confusing. Like does empower mean weights or HIIT? Anyways, I am in better overall health doing Barre about 4-5 x / week than I’ve ever been before. Very high quality workout programs here.

  • Pure barre go

I’ve been loving PBGO so far. I just connect hdmi cable to mirror laptop to TV. Based on online reviews it appears the online program went through a bit of a rough patch the past year, but I haven’t had any issues and there seems to be a decent amount of classes (more Empower would be great though!). No matter what other workouts I do I always go back to PB!

  • No way to contact for service or support on the app

I pay for a regular monthly studio subscription and for Pure Barre Go separately every month. I’ve been having more and more access issues with Pre Barre go even though I pay automatically without fail. There is no way to contact for IT or customer support on the app. I must reach out to my local studio, and I don’t always hear back from them, or hear back timely. It is really frustrating as I don’t feel I’m getting the value for everything I’m paying for when things are already tough during this pandemic.
