Good app, but can’t add ticket to Apple Wallet

I like the app, but am rather frustrated that there doesn’t seem to be the option to add your season ticket to the Apple Wallet. This means you have to go to the EMR app every time. It would be much more convenient to be able to access it via the Apple Wallet.

The best train app

No extra charges and app is really easy to use and buy tickets on. I don’t use any others now even though I moved away from the midlands

Constantly crashing

Buying tickets is not the problem, it’s accessing them. Every time I open the app and tap on a ticket the app crashes. I have to delete the app, reload from the App Store and sign in again to retrieve the ticket. When you’re about to catch a train, this is very stressful.

Oops! We are unable to take payment ……

On the Hope Valley line, I usually see this message - it’s fine by me. I screenshot the message to show the ticket collector, but never need to as they, generally, can’t be arsed to walk through the three carriages and collect the fare! Consequently, I rarely pay for travel between Edale & Sheffield. Unfortunately, this contributes to figures showing low passenger numbers giving another reason to cut the number of trains on this line 👎

Why portrait only???

I’m fed up with apps being portrait only. If you use an iPad with its standard keyboard, you’re always in landscape - like an actual computer. Surely it’s not rocket science to allow the app to pivot to landscape, even if you then have to have a stupidly small area with the app on…???

Expired tickets not moving to Past Trips

Please fix the bug on Upcoming / Past Trips. Have many expired travel tickets that won’t move to Past Trips. Very annoying when in a rush to find the correct day ticket! Also not able to change ticket dates/ times on the app - Oops error occurred message always appears. Have to login via website to make changes.

Decent app, a couple of improvements possible

This is a decent app - simple layout, easy to use, mostly lovely.

The most significant improvement I’d like to see is a one-click Delay Repay function for a booked journey. For example from any “expired tickets / previous journey”, a button to start the DR process *and populate all the possible data into the claim* would save a ton of time.

All I should need to further provide is the reason for the claim - length of delay, cancellation, missed connections, etc. For anytime tickets I might need to add journey details, but for advanced tickets these details could be populated directly, for review and confirmation.

EMR has all of the journey details already, I really shouldn’t have to go to a different site and fill in all that detail again, manually.

A minor improvement would be, to be able to add tickets to Apple Wallet etc direct from the app. Currently this is not possible even though Wallet is supported for e-tickets - you have to click the relevant link in the confirmation email, outside of the app, which seems like an unnecessary step.

Easy Booking

Just used the app to book my tickets, also have a railcard…it was really quick and easy, no problem at all ☺️

Will quite happily help you book tickets but won’t tell you when your train has been cancelled

There are multiple design flaws with this app, but I think the most frustrating is the fact that it doesn’t give you any information on the actual trip itself. No notifications your train has been cancelled or delayed (which has happened 100% of the time in the past 2 weeks) and no way to actually contact a human being to get you where you need to go.

Not Downloading

Moved to this app from the previous one but it doesn’t download the tickets through the app. I rely on the e-tickets in the email you get after you book through the app. Payment methods and the like are just fine, it just doesn’t download the tickets within the app
